skygunner58203 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 im in a pickle. My wife left me stating she wanted a divorce. I told her that was her decision and I would respect it. I filed a form of separation that if it was overturned by either party in one year, would become a divorce. She agreed to it. Four days ago i started seeing one of my best friends. Ex didn't know about it as she wanted no contact. this morning my ex called me. She stated that she wanted to give us a second chance. I told my new GF about it. Now here's the kicker. I still love my ex, and my head, gut, and heart all say give it a shot. My best friend/GF say i'm making a mistake but she will support that decision. Its so freaking complicated and I know i'll regret not taking the second chance....even if it doesn't work out. Am I making sense?
EgoJoe Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Whether she knows about it or not. She is feeling the loss and reacting impulsively (Your STBXW that is). IMO: You started seeing the new girl too soon but that is your perogative. Don't go back to the Wife so easy. Tell her you'll think about it and let her know in due time.
