drew605 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 I have been talking to a girl from my university online for a month, we met up thursdayfor about 4 hours, in which time we talked alot but I didn't do anything suggestive other than pay for her meal..I probably should have held her hand or hugged her at the end and complimented her a bit. She said I was chill and thankfully wasn't desperate and texted me after thanking me for the meal and apologizing for not bringing her ID to go drinking... So we had already had a date for the next day planned before Thursday's rather spontaneous date, I asked her midway through the date if that date was still on, she said yeah but was confused i asked or felt pressured?....so I texted her the afternoon of the second date and asked if 8pm was fine to pick her up but she made an excuse she used previously to cancel a sushi date I had set up She is usually on Skype or windows live but hasn't logged on for more than 2-10 mins at a time (because she cancelled the date, I figure I should wait for her to make first contact or I'm desperate). Why is she suddenly so scarce but hasn't exactly blocked me outright on the skype or windows live? What should I do next?
sid3 Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Nothing is probably your best bet. In the mean time, find another girl to date. I don't think expecting another date the following nite was wise. Purely speculation. My guess, you made yourself seem to available. That being a challenge thing can bite you in the ass if you're not careful.
TheFinalWord Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 thanking me for the meal and apologizing for not bringing her ID to go drinking... What should I do next? That was a lie. She had her ID or could have gotten if she wanted to. Sorry buddy, just move on.
Author drew605 Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 Well she came online a few mins ago and I to talk to her over instant messenger and joked with her and stuff and then told her how I was shy on Thursday's date and that I am generally shy at first. her reply was: ohhh that's ok I was a bit shy and stuff too I continued to talk with her for a bit and told her I was going for food...now shes offline again was that a turn off?
Buttercup84 Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 I would move on , sorry . If I liked a guy I wouldn't want to wait to see him again , I would want to talk to him .
