Believe what you want, but these people who come up with these things are essentially playing on YOUR desperation and giving you false promises, as well as bogus reviews to fuel your hunger. You could always send your $39.99 my way and I'd be glad to give you the same advice LOL jk

The magic of making up summary is, agree with your ex that it's the right decision, work on yourself and have very limited contact, and if she comes back, take it extremely slow.
Author loveydove Posted March 6, 2012 Author Posted March 6, 2012 I know it's probably stupid, but for some reason it makes me think I have a little more control over my situation than I feel like I do, and I can't find anywhere to download it onto a Mac. I dont know, the vids and everything makes me a little stronger and a little more positive. It forces me to think with my head, not my heart. Please does anyone have it in a compatible file?

Its goid to talk about it and it helps you to understand better when writing it. Aldo the people who help you give some great advice and everyones in (more or less) the same boat and can give u dome really good advice instead of wasting time and money on getting ur ex back books. Those books dont understand yoyr feelings or how ur ex treated u etc.

Those books dont understand yoyr feelings or how ur ex treated u etc. Yes, they play on natural human insecurities and actually cause you to focus on the ex rather than on yourself. They prevent you from moving on because the writers know that it is only natural to want the comfort of the former relationship instead of exploring new territory. Most, if not all people fear change. Also, I find that these books/programs purposefully make you feel "empowered" by using generalities and gender stereotypes knowing that most people will blindly identify to some degree with these stereotypes (the easy road) rather than feel and think their way through(the hard road).

NC is hard, and I have questions I want answered, and I want to feel ok. I have tried therapy to no avail, they just said I have to go through it. Everyone seems to say NC and just trudge through but I want to be proactive! I want to know I am doing the right thing.

It is not a plan, it's a choice. Not in the sense that you won't remember, but in the sense that you choose to move on and not dwell on the misery that you feel atm. Those books proclaim that NC will draw your ex back, and it will perhaps... but when you have really hit the end of the road NC actually gives you a choice, a fork in the road. You gave what you could, offered what you could... you deserve to give yourself a choice. NC is a choice we all have. Feeling ok is all about you, not your ex.
