brob82 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 About a week ago I had posted on the forum about a girl I had been dating for roughly two months. I posed the "where do you see this going" question to her and her response was she was having fun but hadn't though much about it. *Now I want to have a disclaimer before I go on...I'm not just sitting around at home moping around. I went out this weekend talked to some other women and had fun! So, back to my story... She didn't contact me for a few days after this convo, but then did. I played it off and mentioned nothing of it. I then told her I was busy during the week and asked if she was free this past weekend. She said she might be visiting her one friend who lives out of town, but she wasn't sure and said she would let me know. Well, she didn't get a hold of me and I just let it go and haven't contacted her either. Now I know I'm probably going to get some responses telling me to man up and whatever and get over it, but I'm also thinking I might get some other advice. Like I said I'm not just moping around and I get that I probably F'd up When I talked to her. Should I just completely forget about her and write her off as a loss? I really do like her, but I also don't want to make an effort if it's basically worthless to try... Thanks for listening/advising!

You are putting in all the effort here, she is doing the bare minimum to keep you wondering and keep you hanging around in case she does decide she wants some attention. Just forget her, she doesn't even have the common courtesy to let you know for sure she has other plans? If she contacts you again, ignore her! If you can't do that, AT THE VERY LEAST DON'T ASK HER TO HANG OUT. Stop initiating everything!
