I have wanted to meet up for such a long time just to see if there was any connection between us and to see if we could work things out. I was under the impression we were going to try and work on things, he had other ideas. So i went along with his idea. After he got what he wanted he hardly said a word, went cold towards me, pretended he was tired. So I went home. The next day I didnt receive a single text. I felt so used but i suppose i learned my lesson. I stupidly thought that if we seen each other the spark that we had would still be there. Now I know alls he wanted was sex. He doesnt care about me at all. It also helps to have seen him because now I know for sure how much he has changed. His hygeine leaves alot to be desired too.

We stick them on the pedestal and it's so hard to knock them off, but sometimes it's themselves who fall off by doing things like this; making us see them in their true light. Hopefully now you'll be stronger when he next comes calling and be able to push him away. I reckon there's many on here who would love to catch up with their ex, have that one last moment, see if there's anything worth saving etc etc (I'm kinda' one of them), but your post is testament to the fact it's often not worth doing and the person we want is no longer the person they are.

I would say the one good thing to come out of meeting up is I've finally got some closure. I wish me and my ex could have worked things out but things I hope I can finally meet someone who wants to be with me and who won't use le and make me feel worthless.
