Saint Santo Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 hi, my ex dated a guy before she met me and then started dating him again after we broke up. he tried to add me on fb and I've never met him. their seems relationship seems fine and I found this weird. I asked someone and they said it was probably a mistake and he was fb stalking me and accidentally clicked it. he is not a scary or intimidating guy but what do you think of this?
Author Saint Santo Posted February 27, 2012 Author Posted February 27, 2012 there is no way I would do that. I am wondering if I should say something to my ex though.
HollyBolly Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 No. Don't say anything. You will get the answer soon enough.

Don't use it as an excuse to take a pot shot at her BF, you will look like you still want her back and at anybody's expense.. in other words.. you will lose in the end if you mention it to her

I wouldn't use it as an excuse to say anything bad, just bring it to her attention.

Jayerjay Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 But why would you even feel the need to mention it to her? I think that is just as weird as anything else, just ignore the request and leave it be. The only reason I could justify saying that to her is you're looking for a reason to start talking to her? Bad news all around in my opinion. 1
Author Saint Santo Posted February 27, 2012 Author Posted February 27, 2012 That sounds like you are going to contact her and tell her ?? at this point I'm not going to. i don't think it would be that weird to ask her what's up with it, though. it just isn't worth my time at this point but it does make me curious. 1
CaliBabe Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 My friend did the same exact thing. She was FB stalking and accidentally added. Haha! Idiot.

CaliBabe Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Yes it was by accident and she was mortified. But it was a simple mistake. It happens.

radiodarcy Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 (edited) Does it? LOL LOL yes!i've done it myself - - fortunately it wasn't to add an ex's new gf! but yeah - - since i've done it before, i can totally see how it would happen to the OP's ex's bf. even though i personally would have been *much* more careful. at any rate, OP, i would recommend you give him the benefit of the doubt and not mention it to your ex. Just dismiss it and move on.
