june123 Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 My therapist asked me to come up with ideas on where I would see myself in 1, 5, & 10 years. After my husband of 21 years walked out. Where do you see yourself?
Mr Scorpio Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 One year = Still poor, single, and working my way through professional school. Twenty pounds lighter than I currently am. Five years = Depends on whether or not I can find a job after graduation. If I can, I will be highly stressed, heavily in debt, and living with/supporting my one living parent, but with a couple extra hundred dollars in spending money per month and the dignity of a career. If I can't, I will be highly stressed, heavily in debt, and working two menial jobs for which I will be heavily over-qualified, and living with/supporting my one living parent. Ten years = Either living on a boat and doing lots of reading, or dead by zombie attack.
Life Person Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 I honestly have no idea... not even in an ideal world.

Philosoraptor Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 My therapist asked me to come up with ideas on where I would see myself in 1, 5, & 10 years. After my husband of 21 years walked out. Where do you see yourself? A year from now I see myself happy and having pretty much caught up my house which is underwater. 5 years from now I will still be happy and married. I'll have a new house and may still have the old one was a rental. We shall see. 10 years from now I will be a father and still very very happy.
