LogicallyIllogical Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 So I've been doing well for 6 days. 6 days since I was dumped, 6 days of NC. I've been busting my ass in the gym and trying to stay busy. It sucks in the morning, but gets easier as the day goes on. Well, today I logged onto Facebook and tried checking my ex's page. We're not friends on FB anymore and both have private profiles, so we can't see what each other are doing and didn't update our pages much anyway. Now her page is gone. I don't know if she deleted it or randomly blocked me, but either way, it was like someone hit me in the chest with a bat. It was just my last way to know she was still out there, and now it's gone. I know not to ask myself "why did she block me?", but it's hard not to. We haven't talked for 6 days, so if she did block me, it would be a childish/immature move on her part. It's entirely possible that she deleted her FB. Just as I think I'm getting better and it's getting easier, a move that may not even had anything to do with me happens and it sets me back. I guess this is what I get for checking in the first place. Just venting.
Author LogicallyIllogical Posted February 25, 2012 Author Posted February 25, 2012 Well, it turns out I was blocked. I guess I'll just use it as further motivation to recognize she doesn't want to talk to me and in time it will give me more to to fuel the fire while I'm moving on. Hey, at least it shows she was thinking about me.
jus d'orange Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Seems like you're doing well. Just keep going with the healing process. Remember that your ex is also in on the NC thing, so her blocking you on Facebook is just her doing the same thing that you are. Don't blame or feel angry, just understand that she's trying the same things you are and keep moving on. We've all got a long road ahead of us.

Hey, at least it shows she was thinking about me. Just to give a different perspective on blocking facebook, I did it because I don't want to be tempted top view her pic or wall. Yes, I can unblock and then view, but the very act of having to unblock seems to be enough to get me to not view.
