InJest Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Just moved to a new city about two months ago, and started online dating again after a couple years off. I've been on several dates, and found one that I definitely want to pursue seriously, but she will take some time. Anyway, last night I went on a second date with a girl that works at a restaurant. Very cool girl, we get along well so far. Anyway, after dinner/happy hour, I go home and start talking to a girl I messaged earlier this week that just gave me her number. Conversation is going well, and we decided to go for a happy hour. Turns out Saturday is the only day that works for me, and this girls favorite place is the same place where the girl I'd just got done seeing works. So I agreed to meet her there, but what makes the situation hairy is that I know for sure that the first girl is going to be working all day on Saturday. I'm normally okay with this type of thing, but I think this one requires more eyes than mine. Option 1: I've already tried moving it to today, so hopefully that works. Option 2: Call ahead and reserve a table, and ask to not be seated in the other girl's section. Option 3: Just go and keep my head down, and hope for the best. Option 4: Tell the girl that someone I've previously dated works at the restaurant we planned on going to.

Ranchero44 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Whoa! That's a bit awkward. Ditch Options 2 and 3. Hopefully you can get the date moved to another day; if not, choose another restaurant. All three of you will be really uncomfortable otherwise, in my opinion.
