shamone222 Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Hi All, My girlfriend broke up with me a couple of days ago, i never noticed that she was unhappy, she never showed it. All she would show is her affection towards me and would always say she loved me and i would say the same. Basically she said that we argue too much (only when drunk, never when were sober + its mainly my fault), there has only been 3 arguements in our 7 month relationship but she says we do it all the time! also that i never come visit her and that i make her come visit me (which is kinda true because she lives very far away and wuld come visit me 1-2 times a week when she comes to town). She says she doesn’t want to be with anyone anymore and wants time to think what she wants. I know she loves me because her brother told me she thinks the world of me a day before she broke up with me. Anyway i was shocked, I made it up to her house for the first time at the weekend. she didn’t let me stay the night and told me to go home. I apologised to her the next day (as i always do after we fight) and asked her if she wants to meet up for a chat. She said ok but then cancelled til the day after. The day after she cancels again and at this point i knew she was going to break up so i asked if i can call her instead, she said thats ok. I called her and she said its not working for her, i did the right thing and was calm about it and respected her decision, and told her my only intentions were to make her happy, support her and be greatfull to her and apologised for the small arguments i started, she was greatful and said it means alot to her what i just said. After we both hung up, straight away i deleted her as friend off facebook (pics/status etc..) we both put ourselves single, then i wished her well and she replied back very short and bluntly (i take it she was upset i deleted her as a friend. The next day she texted me saying she is sorry for being blunt and short last night and that the last thing she wanted to do is hurt me, and thanked me for being so good and supportive for her the time we were together and that she thinks im an amazing person (i treated her very well). I didn’t reply negatively or bluntly, i just replied with a ‘best of luck with everything etc’ Started my no contact today and already i feel like this day has been a week!! I wont contact her though. Im just wondering if anyone has been in this situation and if they ever came back? I love her to bits, and i know for a fact she did too. Everything was perfect one day, the next day she breaks it off. i think she is going through alot of stress aswel because she started her new job yesterday, and one of her friends has been seriously injured, also she needs to go for an operation for her heart in 2 months. im heartbroken i need some good advice please
