AwptiK Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 This is my first excited/happy post after spending most of my time in the breakup/coping areas about two months back. So this is pretty awesome to me. I'm mostly here to get my thoughts out, so I don't sit around and over-analyze things that are definitely going well. I've been talking to a girl for roughly a month now, things picked up a lot more during and after Valentines Day. We went out on our first date this past Sunday, which mainly consisted of bowling and seeing a movie. We both had a ton of fun. I sent her flowers the following day, to show that I enjoyed our first actual date. She was ecstatic. We made plans for this coming Saturday now too, we're going to see a comedian perform. -- Yesterday, we were texting and she invited me to this social event at her college (tonight). I'm going, but i'm pretty nervous. I'll be meeting some of her good friends and her roommates as well. I'm much better at 1 on 1 talking than I am in any sort of group, unless I know a majority of the people. I guess being outside of my element is good for me though. I definitely worry slightly about continuing to have things develop the way they are and not end up being just a friend. I doubt that's really a problem, but it lingers in my mind. I know I haven't asked for much, but any advice or encouragement is much appreciated.
