If she is putting out then go ahead and get it. If you or her were married then it would be a no no.

well your inability to read my posts accurately actually is pegging your IQ a bit under the average.

Oh, ouch, you hurt me. Do you think that my opinion of my intelligence would be effected by you? Funny.

Where did I say I was in a 'serious' or 'monogamous' relationship.

In fact, I don't claim that you said that. I hadn't read your other thread, and posters on this one were writing that you had a girlfriend. So, I assumed you did.

Since I was mistaken, and you are not in a monogamous or serious relationship with anyone, all my issues about your being a crappy boyfriend to your gf are moot. Since you don't really have a girlfriend at all. So, my bad.

If you were a lawyer you'd fail because you can't insert made up statements to 'win' an argument. You can try on places like LS and duller people might concede, but not me. mIn fact when you try and fail in court, you lose ground cuz you lose credibility.

Huh? I'm NOT a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV! What gives you the idea that I would be troubled by the thought that I'd fail as a lawyer? That's just weird.

You think males quit looking around after age 12? hahaha!

No. I think that stand - up, honorable MEN are capable of loyalty and faithfulness.

And of the countless people I've known in relationships (adults that is), how many are with their 'dream' spouse?

I don't even think that mature, fully formed adult men and women carry around the notion of a "dream" spouse, much less compare their own real, live beloved to a fantasy. That's the purview of prepubescent girls, and evidently fantasy-dwelling boys, IMO.

Where's that "Only Quotes Jerks" dude when you need him?

I KNOW. I miss that guy a lot right now.

Well no matter how you try to " justify" your actions, you cannot reinvent the English language. Cheating is cheating if you have an SO and you're thinking about wanting to be with another girl. That's completely different from a guy lusting after another girl, and not acting on his actions.

Nobody's trying to browbeat you, but don't think you can expect most of us to agree with you either.

I agree that MOST guys DO lust for other women even when in HAPPY relationships and women who do not realize that are just way to idealistic. It's reality; a reality that most women cannot handle so they like to pretend their man is different even when he is not.

I am not idealistic like most women; I'm a realist. Majority of men will always want to have sex with other women. If they don't act out it they will and DO fantasize of having sex with EVERY attractive woman that comes their way; bank teller, co worker, random woman walking in front of them at the mall etc. This is only reality.

And you Breals are the rare type of woman who I do commit to: because with your type of attitude and understanding, it relieves a type of pressure and facade that drives men away from women. So by being the way you are ( a realist) I actually want to be in your company cuz I can relate. And likely not just on this topic but others too. There are so many men I know who see their spouse kinda like a prison warden of sorts, and it's writen all over popular culture too as art reflects life. Because men get tired of trying to fit into spouse's idealized version of how things SHOULD be. But you get that. This is for all the others who don't.

And yes I admit there are as many men guilty of a whole other set of issues that make lives impossible for many women- but that's for a different post.

Of course, it's probably just a matter of time before I get hoisted on the OQJ petard myself.

Danny might be a lawyer. I've known a few that I suspect officed out of the back of an Econoline.

you are really dimwitted. Lawyer reference cuz that equates to logical thought processes- which you don't have. And yes you did bring in 'serious' and 'monogamous' into the convo, yet conveniently try to backpeddal when it's pointed out you are inserting words in my mouth. And if you refer to other posters rather than my own posts, then once again you fail at this exercise -which is only with accuracy and logic do you actually 'win' an argument. Not by stating OMG you're 15' And I do have gf, but her and I haven't decided to be exclusive , so yes your position (and you) is moot.

No your false sense of intelligence can't be affected by logic- because you don't have the ability to SEE logic. It's a sad catch 22 that won't affect my life- but it will yours!!

Here's a useful tip for you: When posting on an Internet forum about how someone is illogical, dimwitted, has a low IQ, and other related insults, it's important that you use proper sentence structure, spelling, punctuation and grammar. Otherwise, you just make yourself look illogical, dimwitted, and not blessed with very high intelligence. Plus, people will laugh at you.

Just FYI.

Now good luck with the dream girl, old man!

or should I just vanish? Her and I kissed a year ago- then I didn't pursue as we were working together- then I started to really like her and come on to her again- then she says 'now I have a bf' ugh! !

Re read my post slooooowwwly. I only said I'm thinking about another girl. Where did I ever state my current gf and I pledged allegiance to each other? In fact, she has said 'let's take this slow' and is herself uncertain about us being exclusive...

If you're accurate in your writing, and don't put words in others' mouths you'll come across as above average intelligence, so you know.

Accuracy, gotta love it.

Still didn't answer my question by the way.

Generally when one claims that they have a girlfriend/boyfriend they usually mean monogamous, such as with your Dreamgirl. Otherwise they usually add the disclaimer: "but it isn't exclusive."

Something else that helps denote intelligence: not contradicting yourself on an open Internet forum where everyone can see what you post in less than 24 hours. (Some people change perspectives over time so their views mat contradict each other from year to year etc.)

Some things that signify being a classy individual: not labelling yourself "Alpha." Not using passive-aggressive/aggressive communication techniques. Not insulting other's intelligence and perceptions simply because they differ with your own.

Your words gotta be accurate or you'll be shot down people. I never said I have a SO cuz I don't. My gf and I have BOTH agreed to put brakes on exclusivity for now.

And religious people say simply lusting in your mind and not acting on it IS cheating btw. So it depends who u talk to. Are you 'guilty' of that? My guess is yes. And you women are ALL with cheaters if your definition is 'you have an SO and you're thinking about wanting to be with another girl' (your words!) Sorry!

On your other thread, you just said, again, that you have a girlfriend.

You are confused, I guess. In this crazy world, who knows whether they have a girlfriend, or not anymore?

Actually he said that those with MORE experience were LESS likely to cheat and cited himself as an example of someone with more experience who was less likely to cheat.

And yes he has said that he is in his forties and that his life experiences are an interesting hook to younger women (I.e. The girlfriends that he has been seeing who are in their 20s.)

He actually said a man who goes out with lots of women is more likely to stay with only one women or something like that. Which makes absolutely no sense. Personaly I feel that past behavior is the best indicator of furture behavior. The thing is a guy who gets lots of women is likely to continue getting lots of women so if he ever decides to settle down it won't be that hard so his entire post was pointless excuse to ramble about beta males and how he is an alpha.

I think he's probably just an internet troll. Even if he is out there doing well with women its very simple of him to make these pointless threads.

Arguing with him does no good other then having the joy of pointing out all his inconsistancies.

Who the heck calls himself "Alpha" and other guys "Beta?" My guess only very imature people who have a combination of inferiority/superiority complex at the same time.

He's just looking to troll whether his situation is real or not I cannot say.

I think it's that his "girlfriend" wouldn't know whether or not she has a boyfriend from day to day. Or whether the other girl has two.

It's up to the rest of us to read his inarticulate mind to see what it is he is trying to say and trying to justify.

If he has anything truly groundbreaking to say, I'll respond. Otherwise, who has time anymore? Other people on this site need actual help and support and others provide logical topics to debate. As well, there's a whole bunch of other fun pursuits going on for me, so I'll pass.

Let me save you some time on your next post Danny in van....

Sorry man, just too many like you have come and gone. More of a stereotype then the people you claim are stereotypes. Same old shlock. Same old excuses for stupid behavior. It gets old.

I can see why mme chaucer has started shaming some of the posters on here.

You mentioned she spells like crap, not me. I was pointing out her inability to follow my thread, and her inconsistencies in logic. Bad spelling is just being dim in another area (you should watch yours too) - but I agree- one can still be logical.

And you 'personally feel' my past will indicate my future. Well I beat you there too because I know my habits- not you- and I know that each committed relationship I've been in has been loyal.

Who uses alpha and beta terms? It comes from higher academia, and the anthro dep't actually.

When I didn't have much sex experience (in my teens, early 20s) I wanted it soooo bad. Now that I've fulfilled most all of my fantasies, I don't need it as much (and not cuz my body has changed. When with a gf sex is a regular event). Guys I know my age who toed the party line and didn't or couldn't get girls back when are always perving out and asking me for more of my stories to live by...and they love their strip bars, and leer at anything and kinda creep even me out by their obvious primal hunger that was never satisfied.

Now I've been to Paris 3 times, I don't yearn to go there as when I hadn't been there at all. Get my analogy?

The "logic" is just … mind boggling. Keep up the good work, my man in Van. Bye.

ya well if you evidently don't understand...or misquote me (I never used the word 'stereotype' btw) should I just ignore that? What else do you have in debate but to point out errors in the opposition. This thread was simply about whether to pursue someone with a boyfriend. Not hard to understand I thought...Now resorting to personal insults and hijacking the original point is commonly considered the refuge of the intellectually weak.

Gf might refer to me as a bf or not...dunno. Never told her she was my gf. We haven't defined it. Sorry you LS vicarious living weirdos.

I know the attacks are all from females or their patsies. It's so obvious as they hate that what I've said here is what lurks in their SO's mind (but his hen pecked self can't say it). Groundbreaking? Tho u haven't said an original thing since your birth I'm sure, I'll still provide this: accept that males' minds are what they are and have better relationships (ie your SO won't seek the refuge of his male buddies as much as he does). Oh, and you too should watch your spelling- as that, sentence structure and ability to stick to a theme is what determines how smart you appear here.

I know you can't go toe to toe with me on fluidity of the written word- but at least use your spell!

gawd I dunno which of you write this stuff - but here goes: if I said gf then it's MY fault that u assumed it meant monogamy? And you based your attack on that? Do I even have to point out how stupid that is? And even if we were exclusive, you think that means that's for eternity? Only marriage promises that. Do u really think if your spouse had a week or two or month with a hot rich cool funny girl who wanted to start a new trouble free life with him that he definitely wouldn't think about it? Don't bother answering. The guys know what I'm talking about.

Sure it may never happen to your guy cuz he may be as lame as you and can do no better. There is security in that I guess.

no- you know it wasn't particularly witty. What you mean is 'I'm glad there are other people (women) here who back up my weakening position that my man only thinks of me- and would NEVER get with another girl'...

Remember: I am a guy so I know a lot more about what goes thru your man's head than possibly you do...AND he has an obvious reason to say 'honey there's no one else but you...' thus u must take w a grain of salt.

That's why I thought he was 12.

if my strongest point was 'you sound like you're 12' I'd jump off a building. In fact you've repeated it more than once, so you really think it's quite a zinger.

Much more powerful would be 'you can only have your back up on all this because you are actually worried that what I say about the mind's of men may be true.' All you women describing to me how a man's mind works is comical- but sad. I understand why you don't want any of this to be true. I get it...

But on the other hand we all had to at one time accept there was no santa claus either.
