danny in van Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 you ask your guy 'how many girls have you been with before me?' What response would be a dealbreaker?? Of course a 40 yr old man will likely have a diff # than a 20yr old, but let's hear your thoughts...thx!!
TaintedHeart Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 This is the make or break question for me.
SmileFace Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I really wouldn't even care. I truthfully wouldn't want to date a virgin so I guess zero is too little. One and more is fine
CarrieT Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I'm in my late 40s and there is no number that is a deal breaker. It is a stupid question and there could be a variety of reasons for the answer. I am dating a man in his early 50s who has had around a dozen women. He knows that I have FAR more experience and was downright promiscuous at times in my life. But the fact that I am committed to a strong monogamous relationship and could see him as being the last man I have sex with is sufficient for him. My past is a null factor in the equation and for that, I am extremely grateful. Some men might have written me off due to my extremely high number of partners (triple digits). Thankfully, my guy knows the whys and wherefores of how my triple digits came about and has not judged me for them, but the person I am today. 1
TaintedHeart Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 It's not a stupid question for me. It matters to me and I'm sure it matters to other women too.
Star Gazer Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I don't care how many women he's been with so long as he has substantial sexual and relationship experience. I'm 33.
xpaperxcutx Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 If the numbers are high I would ask the next question: Do you have safe sex? I would rather know that a guy is safe over his promiscuity.
Old Flame Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 When you grow up and get older than 14, you find that people don't ask those stupid questions anymore. All of us have had sex partners ask us "how many" before, but those questions don't get asked by adults over 18. 1
somedude81 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 This question is such a double standard. I'm betting that the vast majority of women would not answer truthfully. And that's because they know that their number is too high. My guess is that most women around 30 have been with at least 15 guys, and that's just bad.

Titania22 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Why is it bad? That's what I was wondering

Yeah the double standard being girls get stigmatized for sleeping with guys too much. Get over it. People are promiscuous nowadays, BOTH men and women.
somedude81 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Why is it bad? Because it can mean one of two things. They're easy. Or They have frequent casual sex Basically it means the girl is having sex with a lot of guys outside of a relationship. Then my question is, why? Yeah the double standard being girls get stigmatized for sleeping with guys too much. Get over it. People are promiscuous nowadays, BOTH men and women. I think it's just as bad if a guy has a high number. Though if a guys number is high, he had to work for it. A girl, lets just say she didn't...
fortyninethousand322 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Yeah the double standard being girls get stigmatized for sleeping with guys too much. Get over it. People are promiscuous nowadays, BOTH men and women. And guys get stigmatized for sleeping around too little. Both are well deserved stigmas.
Titania22 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 They have frequent casual sex Basically it means the girl is having sex with a lot of guys outside of a relationship. Then my question is, why? God forbid a woman is ever horny, and there is no opportunity for a relationship available. You know if a woman was horny once a year for that 10yrs (20-30), then that is already 10 sex partners, and that is only sex once every 365 days. Seriously if a different woman came by once or twice a year and was willing to have sex with you somedude (but rejected you for a relationship) you would be up to 15 partners by 30, and i very much doubt you would be rejecting their offers. 4
Titania22 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Yeah the double standard being girls get stigmatized for sleeping with guys too much. Get over it. People are promiscuous nowadays, BOTH men and women. Well now it seems girls get stigmatized for being virgins too long as well. We can't win.
fortyninethousand322 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I'm a guy and I'd say 2-4 is what I'd expect for a woman my age (23/24). More than that is too many.
somedude81 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 God forbid a woman is ever horny, and there is no opportunity for a relationship available. Masturbate. It's what most men do. You know if a woman was horny once a year for that 10yrs (20-30), then that is already 10 sex partners, and that is only sex once every 365 days. My main worry is how come she hasn't been in a relationship in that 10 year period? That's the main red flag, not that she has sex with a couple guys a year. Seriously if a different woman came by once or twice a year and was willing to have sex with you somedude (but rejected you for a relationship) The odds of that happening are so low it's not even worth thinking about. The vast majority of men don't get offered no strings sex. Well now it seems girls get stigmatized for being virgins too long as well. We can't win. Both are a sign of one or more problems. For example, a 27 year old woman who's been with a ton of guys or zero guys, is a red flag either way.

fortyninethousand322 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 And if those guys were offered sex 1 or twice a year, most would take it over another night of masturbating without a second thought. A relationship minded person (male or female) would man up and not engage in casual sex.
SmileFace Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Nobody masturbates by choice, come one. Really if you had the choice of getting some, you will rather masturbate? Really?
fortyninethousand322 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Nobody masturbates by choice, come one. Really if you had the choice of getting some, you will rather masturbate? Really? I haven't masturbated in over 2 months anyway so what's the difference? I offer integrity and that's what I'd expect in return.
SmileFace Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I haven't masturbated in over 2 months anyway so what's the difference? Would you choose to masturbate over no strings attach sex? I am asking this question with the idea that your belief system may not go against this.
Titania22 Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 And I suppose nobody ever dated someone for a relationship, and the other party lost interest after sex.
