Why some people repeatedly get cheated on?

I met this girl and she told me that she has been cheated on by every guy she has dated. She is 34 also! To me this is a major red flag because it's just not normal. I asked her if she just chooses or draws the wrong guys, but she said no. I just kind of fascinates me why this is the case because its not normal. I don't think you can do anything to make someone cheat on you because you just dump them if you don't like them. I was wondering what characteristics or problems people have in common that get cheated on a lot by different people.

Sometimes people just have bad luck. Happens more often than people think.

I take that as a girl being a doormat...and a red flag enough for me to take a long walk and not return

 

I don't blame the men necessarily for her luck, but more of her choice in men and I personally am not interested in dating very damaged women who didn't have the self-respect or integrity to walk away from repeat situations like that.

 

I can be pretty harsh, but I don't want to be with a woman that needs me to give her confidence or determine her value...it's just not my type.

It could be bad luck like 49322 said but there are probably a few other factors that come in to play. IMO there are cheaters who will cheat no matter what, and cheaters who work up to it almost unknowingly by lack of affection from thier so. If it's the latter then it may be that she doesn't know how to express affection and can't fulfill his emotional needs. So I'd give her the benefit of the doubt but keep my head on a swivel at the same time!
