Has anyone really ever gotten back with their ex while posting on this site?

My ex wanted me back , said all the right things but then changed his mind in a matter of a day . Made me realize that I do not want to be with someone who let me go in the first place .

 

At first that is all we want , but if someone breaks up with me ( he did twice ) , I go through hell and then he contacts me when single life isn't as great as he thought , well he can go to hell .

I understand you, man. Everyone preaches NC, cutting all ties and bettering oneselves. This place is so different from the outside and romantic movies where couples get back together.

Sometimes I too think some people dive too much into the drama.

You could check Second Chances section on LS, maybe smth better there.

I think there are lots of success stories, but most don't post here because--well, why would you post in a breakup forum if you were living happily ever after?

 

Within my circle of friends, I can think of four couples who broke up and got back together before getting married. Five if you include myself and my husband...

 

So they are out there, just not likely on this forum.

Just like buttercup my x don the same, came back said all the right things and then flew off again, i believe what the poster abov says is true, thy tend to be off the site by the time they come back and also lots of ex's come back and the dumpee refuses because they have been hurt too much

I think it's rare coz wouldn't more people cone back here and let us know? I'm sure most would. Most recons don't work.
