The other day...my friend who works with me, saw my ex...we work in the same place so he just came strolling in. She asked what was up between us and he of course told her that we were broken up. When she asked why he replied with "We broke up because we had too much sex". What does that mean? So maybe he still loves me? I was thinking that if it that was the reason then he would have said that he didnt love me anymore. But who knows.

He was probably just joking. Quit obsessing over this and move on.

It sounds just like a more polite version of "Please mind your own business."

Yeah that sounds like BS...why would a guy break up with a girl bc of that? And if he was planning on it, he would probably talk to you about it first. There is definitely something deeper here.

I have this much darker, meaner view: he wanted to impress that girl.

I mean think about it. What else could he have said tomake himself look better?

And he said "too much sex"! I don't know any man to think he ever has "too much sex". Usually people break up for not having enough sex!

I'm thinking he's trying to built a reputation for himself. Maybe he's a bit unsure, maybe you have this great personality...

I know this is terribly insensitive of me, but I find it a bit amusing and a bit flattering for yourself. It is so obviously a stratch!

But who knows, maybe people simply act differently in America!
