insaneinthebrain Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Okay .. so i have noticed that many of the women that i know seem to fall for the whole.. I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER LINE... now.. i am realist.. and i know that for the most part, although it is possible, this is an explisit guarantee to love someone 4 ever. Isnt this a bit much to be promising someone at any point in a relationship.. For example, i believe an acceptable statement is ... i want to spend the rest of my life you... this implies that companionship for the rest of your life is what you want with that person. Its not a promise to spend the rest of your life with them. But. saying things like i will love you fore ever, or .. for eternity, or promising an unreasonably length of time.. .. is that not a bit much. I mean .. its something that as a man i can say to a woman.. but.. its not something that i can ever deliver.. cause lets face it.. fore ever is a long time and i wont live that long. ... What i am saying is.. wanting to spend the rest of your life with someone is different then promising it.. .. ..so why do girls always fall for false promises of 4 ever, when there is no way a man can see that far..
Author insaneinthebrain Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 you just made my point heather... a man saying it doesnt make it any truer... Id rather have someone that really wants to be with me .. then someone who promesis me everything...
Heather2 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) Im not following you?? what are you trying to say.. Edited February 15, 2012 by Heather2
Heather2 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 isnt it just a play on words?? if someone wants to be with you ,,then they would want to stick around right? and if it was a good relationship for as long as possible? so i dont see what your asking/saying..
