I work out two times in a day once in morning and again in the evening.

I think it's not so much how often but what type of exercise.

 

I do both anaerobic and aerobic exercise, ie high intensity, short burst like boxing, sprinting and lifting heavy-enough weights but also running 5K distances at lower intensity to build my oxygen intake.

 

All in all about 4 times a week in this sort of intensity but I'm active every day in terms of lots of walking or cycling, swimming, etc but more at a leisurely pace perhaps.
