I can see an argument for breast implants, but I googled "young Megan Fox", and her facial features look the same as her high school pictures. Some people are that beautiful. I don't think it would bother me so much if she was someone that didn't have the plastic surgery and her beauty was natural. But it's not. And it's become a standard. And yes, it is infact threatening and I don't think that's an unnatural reaction to the way men view beauty. What is standard? I wouldn't put a concrete prediction on the way men view beauty myself, I have constantly been surprised by some of the women I see men attracted to, and even myself and who I have had an attraction to. For example, I had the hugest crush on Raven Symone, yet for years people kept telling me she was fat, and I never thought she was fat or even remotely ugly at all, she's incredibly beautiful to me . There is always going to be "conventional" beauty, with men and women, and that may change and fluctuate over the years admittedly. However, a man who is able to formulate his own vision of life unclouded by outside influence is a man who is able to appreciate the beauty of any woman. And a woman who is able to do the same will increase her beauty and her self-worth, of equal strength to any man of true character IMO.

I hadn't heard of it either. Googling led to nothing definitive. I haven't seen any argument for breast implants--she's been a strong B/weak C her entire career. There are pics where they're propped up to look more prominent, but you can do that with A cups given the right shirt and bra.

The highest porn sales reflect the tastes of the highest porn consumers--the guys using it daily, and for hours, and often unable to find a partner anyway. Typical men have less extreme consumption in both quality and quantity, but theirs is not the money-making porn market. The relatively extreme few define the "mainstream" market. FWIW, my man doesn't prefer either of those options. But he/we also spend $0 on porn per year, so they aren't focusing on what guys like him like. See what I mean?

But now it's hard for him to even find stuff that doeesn't have some kind of sadistic quality to it. "Sadistic" was his word. He said he had to search through a lot of crap to look at stuff that was about mutual fun. Sometimes they don't even ask to do things. They just do them and it's obvious they got that little trick from porn because it's not something done that would phyiscally turn most women on. I factor in the fact that most porn is made for men by men the majority of the time. Where the women in porn look more like what men idealize. And the women's sexuality has a more masculine energy where they are more aggressive then most average women would be, they are sex hungry, they love EVERYTHING that is happening and never complain, they have multiple partners. A lot of men will even say that what goes on in porn isn't a good way to treat your partner. Yet people are still getting their ideas from material that is heavily one sided to male fantasy. What that tells me personally that people are coyping a more masculine approach to sex and the feminity and the differences of women are being subtley subtracted from the equation. So the sex is rougher, harder and dirtier. There is less softeness, vulnerability or real intimacy. And naturally, women are praised for this. Because it mimics more of the masculine approach to sex. I place Briana Banks in exactly the same category as Megan Fox and Mila Kunis (regardless how those looks were achieved) so I can't see the comparison I'm afraid. Contrary to what people like to think there IS a standard for beauty and that involves symmetrical features and the golden proportions. Studies have shown that babies react more positively to "beautiful faces" and symmetric features. Mainly the women who are threatened by these are average and not so hot so therefore they feel these standards are so unfair and hard to keep up with. That is not my problem; I consider myself very attractive so I am not threatened and nor do I feel these standards are unrealistic. Fact of the matter is that the majority of people are either overweight or unattractive so they feel very threatened by the fact that they are not beautiful enough and feel that these are unrealistic standards. Well sorry to say but life is not fair.Only Mila Kunis and Jessica Alba are "natural". The rest have been proven in pictures to have plastic surgeries and wear tons of makeup. I also find Jessica Alba very bland facially (but she has great body), and Kim, well... plastic. Only Megan Fox can be in the hot category but that's after many surgeries (she was nothing special before. I've seen her pictures). ONLY Mila can be conventionally beautiful in this list. The rest were NOT conventional beauties before or after surgeries. Basically, I think we've two totally different sets of eyes on what is beautiful on both men and women so I think it's a waste of time to argue. You said that yourself: UN-realistic standards. That doesn't have anything to do with how attractive or not a person is.

Many celebrities are regular people until they get some form of plastic surgery. Goggle "celebrity nose jobs" and take a look at the pictures of celebrities. It's interesting to see the before and after pictures and how much plastic surgery does change a regular attractive person into a sex icon. Halle Berry, Megan Fox, Scarlett Johansson..the list goes on. All very attractive women before the surgery. However, they just look like regular attractive women. This doesn't even touch on boob jobs, chin shapping, lip injections and tons of other stuff we don't even know about. Also, goggle, celebrities with eating disorders. Many beautiful women have suffered from them. And to be honest, we don't know how many right now are just to be the sex icon. Since we don't know what they do to look the way they do, we begin to think that it's a standard. A standard for beauty for men to be attracted to and a standard for beauty women want to live up to. Expect it's all unrealistic.
