I'm not sure how I'd feel. I can't imagine feeling threatened...the idea of it turns me on right now, but I suspect that could morph into something else. Ideal situation is that it increased her sexual creativity.

Any of you girls who currently look at porn mind sharing what types you're into, what type you seek out?

I tend to watch stuff that showcases things I don't do/probably won't do but am curious about. Any movie with Janine Lindemulder, Briana Banks and Rocco Sidfredi usually works. ;)

You sure about this? The women arent super hot all the time, and the guys arent ugos all the time either.

Theres soooooo much porn out there nowadays that one cannot simply fall back on the old "all the women are hot, but the dudes are gross" argument anymore.

.

I dunno about that... it is pretty hard finding porn with really hot men. And believe me, i have tried. (and tried and tried )

There are some, but you do have to hunt.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mancandy.

I'd think it was pretty cool.

I'm a big fan of amateur porn... but for "regular films" Google "James Deen"... he is sexy and makes some really good stuff!!

I'm kind of afraid to tell my boyfriend. :o

Why are you afraid and why tell him?

I'm not suggesting you should hide anything but are you planning on having a sitdown to announce this news?

Yeah, if he's a normal guy, then there should be no reason for her to be afraid to tell him.

I have no problem with women watching porn. But I don't see a point in watching it if you are in a relationship, especially if the sex life is "otherwise happy and healthy."

I agree, I can't understand how I could have any need or desire to still watch porn if I was actually able to do the real thing with a real woman.

I look at porn because I'm single and have nobody to sleep with. Once I get somebody, I'd give up porn and expect the same from her.

I wouldn't expect my woman to give up porn, she's not doing anything wrong. Why feel threatened by it?

Shyness, perhaps.

Kiss seems like a doll and maybe that's the reason.

Yeah, it could very well be.

Break out the magic wand and have a blast while I'm not around, I don't care. I can see how some of the women get annoyed when their guy passes them over for porn though.

I disagree. When I was with the ex, I stopped watching porn by myself, but I still watched occasionally with her. It just added variety to an otherwise happy and healthy sex life.

Watching porn together is different. I just don't think any of us should watch it when we are alone.

Not threatened. I just wouldn't want her losing some horniness between sexcapades. That desire should be saved for me. And that's why I wouldn't watch porn either, I'd want to be at my best and not calmed down because I got off to porn a couple of days prior.

It's not really the same issue for men that it is for women since porn caters to men more often then not.

Perhaps if there was something women were masturbating to that was about men that were all over 6 feet, had tons of money that they were spending on that woman and the woman was using him for that money, men might understand why their interest in porn can be quite threatening and/or offensive.

Although, I don't really get watching porn together at all. Why would you want to get horny over another man/woman then have sex with your parner? Can't you get horny over your partner enough alone?

The only difference is that there are extremely beautiful women in porn, but mostly only old ugly balding men. I don't think men would feel threatened by them.

And THAT is exactly the reaon why most men claim that they have "no problem" with it. It's easy to not feel threatened by ugly Rocco Sifredi types, or by porn that mostly focuses only on the women anyway and shows faceless, anonymous men.

Watch how men's tune would change if porn exclusively showed tall, muscular, rich, model-type men with 10 inch d*cks. If men already got bent out of shape over the twilight or true blood sh*t, you bet they would sing a different tune if those type of actors were actually featured in a real porn for women to drool over and get off to.

Honestly, I feel pretty threatened by porn as it is because all the guys have huge dicks.

Ironically, in my relationship I - the girl - am the one who watches porn. My boyfriend doesn't care for it but knows I do in the morning to wank one out before work...

He doesn't care but isn't something he is interested in sharing with me as long as I am enjoying myself and he knows how many orgasms I am having in a day.

If your significant other wants to leave you because of some shortcoming--too short, boobs not big enough, penis not big enough, etc, etc, etc--they will. How does ignoring the fact that people who have better attributes than you out there make you feel better about your relationship?

Men need to get over their insecurity about penis size. Large penises have recently been going mainstream, which is great given that large boobs have been mainstream for 50+ years now. A dozen or more rated R films and cable television shows have been featuring large penises since 2000 or so, and I can't see that trend doing anything but continuing.

That is very true and accurate! That's why gay porn is getting more and more popular with women. They have both nice bodies AND faces (and for some reason they appear as if they care for each other. Prolonged kissing is part of the sex act for example). LOL

Also, re: Twilight etc... Yes, I've noticed the same thing about men catching up with the fact women liking Twilight, True Blood etc, where the male actors are hot, and they are not liking it. :p If porn goes the same way, I'm positive men will not be so happy with their girlfriends/wives watching porn on a regular basis.

My H has never minded when I watch :)

Before kids, I watched alone more often. I rarely get time alone now, and prefer to do other things when I do.

We still watch together occasionally (maybe once a month?). We both like watching the ACT--not the people. I imagine him and me doing the things on the screen. Hot.

I've seen those comments to about Twilight and True Blood. They are usually mocked by alot of guys. Guys aren't exactly saying "hey, I think it's awesome she likes those guys."

The thing about most porn is that it showcases women's sexuality in the way men want it to be, not the way it really is. So they don't mind women watching porn because it's male-centric to begin with for the most part. Most guys aren't going to watch porn regularly made by women, for women unless they are watching something with their gfs. But that is not the stuff they are ever going to seek out on their own with any regularity.

Not true. If you watched porn yourself you would know it's not true. Besides, how would fewer porn movies that cater for women make it less of an issue? Double standards by you surely.

Erm no, it's about masturbating over good looking people having sex or a fantasy being played out on a screen. Many women are as visual as men.

It's about watching things that other people do, being a voyeur, having a fantasy about group sex, etc. Other bodies are hot too, not just your partner's.

I'm not talking about that in terms of a relationship.

Large boobs are just for show and few if any men will require somebody above average.

But penis size is entirely different. We've all heard about size queens. And the last thing I'd want is for a girl to expect me to be bigger and disappointed because all the guys in porn are huge.

I'm already disgusted enough by all the pornographic dramas like Trueblood and soap operas directed toward mostly women audiences. I'd already consider that stuff soft porn.

I personaly don't believe porn is good for men. I'm not sure what effect it has on women but... I'd be curious if a girl told me she watched porn. I'd want her to show me what she watches. I'd try to figure when she started watching it and why she feels the need to. I think a girl watching porn is very different then a guy watching it. Maybe not as mad... maybe worse!

A girl I dated once told me she looks at porn but I never really thought about it to much. Part of me thought she was just saying it.

Everyone decides for themselves. Best as I can determine when it comes to size, women slightly above average sizes when it comes to height, penis/butt, and muscles, but not way above average. Men prefer the same with regards to boobs and hips/butt. Some people want extremes, but not many. The only extreme preference I have in women is height--the taller, the better.

No chance, I don't believe most straight people find gay sex a turn on at all. Watching porn is about putting yourself in the situation that's on screen

I think only 18 year-old boys worry about Twilight.
