Glove_slap Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 http://static.pokato.net/2012-02-08-18-28-195654890.jpg A girl-friend once told me that in most cases when a man leaves a girl it is because he's simply looking to get laid somewhere else in contrast to when a woman leaves a man there it is because the man has progressively gotten weaker and weaker and ended up as a shell of the person he once was. I don't know if her "theory" is generally right but what do you guys think?
Ajax Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Looking at all the threads on LoveShack, as well as from personal experience, I think that is a simplistic and cynical view of men, women, and relationships.
Philosoraptor Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 People leave because they are unfulfilled and unhappy with that they currently have. It matters not what the external issues are; but one whom is happy within themselves, happy with their partner, and happy within their relationship, finds a way to make it work.

I don't know if her "theory" is generally right but what do you guys think? Well if I became a shell of what I once was it was my XW beat me down and emasculated me for years. Which I will admit, there is some truth to that. But honestly, in my case she had issues before we even married. I just now found out about them after 23 years and am paying the price for it.
