louise_23 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 so...i gave my number to a guy i had a ONS with about a month ago (wasnt going to but he asked for it...in hindsight i shouldve made one up) anyway, never heard from him again. until this week. why has this dude taken to prank calling my phone at like...5am? im familiar with the concept of a booty call but i think youd actually have to hold a conversation in order for that to even happen. wtf is the point of this garbage? wake me up and put me in a rubbish mood? am i supposed to call back and say "wtf??" or something? i dont get it??

He must have been drunk. What an idiot. Text or call him and say what the hell is your deal calling me so early in the morning? Lose my f*cking number, jackass. I'd be beyond irritated with this guy. I remember you posting that you really felt badly about the ONS and now the one time you hear from him afterwards, the dude is a moron. Sorry you have to deal with this. You better set him straight. I certainly would.

"lose my f*cking number, jackass" made me laugh i will actually quote that. im over it now, thankfully. the guy needs to get a grip. i keep my phone on loud in case my mum needs me as she is going through chemo atm and gets quite ill from it some nights. i jumped out of bed in a panic this morning for this idiot. i wanted to call him back and shout at him but i thought again because i dont want to look like im signalling interest. im just shocked tbh, its kind of juvenile for a 26 year old :/

Was he drunk? That's no excuse to call someone at such a ridiculous hour. I've had a few people call me drunk late at night and it is so f*cking annoying. It's like get a life!!!

It's like get a life!!! this is the thing - he says nothing and hangs up. i mean, if youre going to do that, leave a bit of mystery to it and withhold your number? and yeah even when im hammered i wouldnt phone someone after midnight. its just ridiculous. i KNOW that would irritate my most patient friends, let alone people i dont really know at all. part of me thinks next time im awake at 4am on a weeknight, ring the idiot. and then do it the next night. and the next. tit for tat. but i guess thats immature.

Yeah don't waste your time calling him. I would just send him a text telling him to never phone you at such a late hour and to lose your number.
kaylan Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Im sorry but I couldnt help be lol @ this situation. It is what it is. I wouldnt even sweat it. Totally sounds like something me and my buddies would be doing and laughing about while coming home from a night out. People do dumb things when drinking, and a lot of the time theyll seem funny in the moment. Dont dwell on it.
