So I'm in the "talking" stages with a guy I met online. We are supposed to have our first date this Saturday. He seems alright so far. Maybe a little douchey but nothing too over the top personality-wise. He's done this thing a couple times that bothers me though... It has me second guessing going out with him.

Three different times he's asked me if I thought he was creepy, or if he creeped me out or something to that affect. Once he just came out and asked out of the blue and the other two times it was when I didn't respond to his texts for awhile.

We've only been talking for like a week and he really doesn't seem creepy to me. Maybe a little too sexually charged for me at this stage but nothing that borders the creep line. It's at the point where I'm starting to wonder exactly how many girls have called him creepy and why because he's so paranoid about it.

This is pretty strange, right? I know that I'm always looking for reasons to write someone off way too soon and I'm not sure if that's what I'm doing now or if this is actually weird...

Man you go on a lot of dates...

Did you ever set up a date and walk into the restaurant/bar realizing, "Sh@t, I already went out on a date with this guy 8 months ago."

That happens to me when I call about vacant apartments...

Haha. You sound like my best friend. She was yelling at me last night saying she needs a Rolodex to keep up with all the guys I've went out with.

I do go out a lot. Usually once, sometimes twice a week. I'm really serious about finding the one for me. You gotta kiss a lot of frogs, ya know? :p

Next time he asks why don't you turn it around and ask him "Why? Do other people think you are creepy?" or "Do you think you're being creepy?" and see what he says. Or just ask him why he's asking.

Yes, it's weird.

I agree with oaks.

From my experience, when people "warn" us... there's a reason... they're not just paranoid!

I no longer feel the need to see for myself... thank goodness.
