jerbear Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 From my dating history. I noticed I'm liking California girls, in additional to Boston, North New Jersey, coastal Carolinas, Irish descent redheads, Long Island, Italian descent, and German descent Midwest women. For the record, the Midwest women "found" me. The others I pursued. The other regions, I was either aloof or rejected them. Anyone else have regional preferences? I'm curious to see if my migration patterns, social economic, education, travel, social views, as an aggregate mattered.
tigressA Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 For the last couple of years my regional preference has been far outside the U.S., but before then I stuck to the East Coast--PA/MD/D.C./NJ/NY. Guys I dated were typically of European descent--British, Irish, German, Polish, Italian.
Eve Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Northern men (UK) are simply the best. Take care, Eve x
Eve Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 H'mmmm.. I don't have any experience beyond my preference though. I am used to French, Irish, basically European males only. Hence, if I were single it is doubtful that I would consider a non European due to lack of exposure to such types. So, my previous answer is probably in many respects useless. Take care, Eve x
thatone Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 in terms of the southern/central US... appearance wise, i really like the french/indian mix in new orleans and surrounding areas. lots of beautiful women there, outside of the beaches of south florida probably the highest concentration of above average looking women in the southern US. attitude wise, the midwest, (dallas, st. louis i have spent time in). the trouble with the women in new orleans is solved in a lot of the bigger midwestern cities. those native new orleans women still take orders from their mothers in their 30s and are looking for someone to join the existing nest, not create a new one. midwestern people, not just women, are often from somewhere else and have moved to one of those cities to make a new life by themselves, which typically denotes an above average confidence level.
cerridwen Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 My history reflects a preference for men from either coast of the United States, with a sprinkling of hockey and football-playing farm boys from the Midwest.
runner Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 i don't think i have any preferences; i like to discover individuals for who they are, regardless of where they came from. (probably sounds like PC bull**** to some, but whatever)
Citizen Erased Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I was pretty much good with anywhere that wasn't full of that "I don't want you to date that white girl" dynamic. Worked for me.
