Surf Rider Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I have been talking to this girl i've known for a year. We met at school and since then we have emailed back and forth for a year now. We talk about many different things such as school, our occupations, what we like to do, what our favorite movies are etc. I'm not sure what to do next. She is a really sweet girl. I think she is beautiful. My college is having a valentine banquet and she is coming up to go with me. I have not dated anyone for 2 years since my ex dumped me. My ex really hurt me terribly and I don't know what to do. My mind is going back and forth. Is this an opportunity for me or is this just a good "friend" relationship? Any thoughts?
thehead Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Treat it as a date. My hunch is you're scared to get hurt again and that fear is the only thing making you question her interest in you. If you doubt she's interested, you don't have to risk anything. You don't risk anything, you're not hurt. From your post, it's obvious you like her. From her actions, there's a good chance she likes you too. So, put the fear aside and treat it like a date. Nice, beautiful girls don't come along that often.
