Hi people,

Met a really sweet & beautiful girl today. My parents and hers are friends for

years now, and the last time I saw her was 10 years before (!).

We had a talk for over an hour in her home with her parents presence.

We had some strong eye contact, my talk was calm and playfull and trying

to make her laugh and she was responding all the time.

She was kinda "nervous" and she was touching her hair all the time, and playing

with her hair endings.

This is a strong subconscious sign that I gave her a good first impression.

Could it be something more than that?

I almost never touch my hair unless I am combing it. I think it's generally a nervous habit for most women. If she was wearing a long necklace or a bracelet, she probably would have been fiddling with those as well.

It could be. They do say that women will touch themselves or play with their hair and "preen" when they are interested in a man. It's not unlikely Freddy! I know that I have done some of that myself when I liked a man. Played with my hair more and tried to unintentially bring attention to myself.

This exactly describes the situation . .

She was trying unintentially to bring attention to herself.

So sweet girl, have my fingers crossed

Good luck. I hope it works out well for you.

I have long hair.

When it's not up, I play with it constantly with no meaning behind it whatsoever.

I do it when people are present and when they're not.

Regardless, if she gave you overall good vibes, go for it.

Personally I find the hair thing sexy. So what's the problem LOL?

And yes, it is a form of flirting as well so count yourself lucky and stop seeing it as something else.

Too many women these days sport some kind of short butch looking dew which I personally dont find attractive at all. I love a girl with long hair.

If you're not as desperate as half of this board and you know for a fact it isn't that desperation talking when you speak of some sort of "connection" - go for it. If not, I'd rethink things before doing anything that could complicate things.

I mean, for all you know, she could've been nervous because she sensed your attraction and didn't want to hurt your feelings because she didn't feel the same, and her parents being there might've changed things a bit. Maybe she was being nice because both of your parents are friends and she didn't want anything to get weird? Maybe I'm just being pessimistic?

I really like that "desperation" point of yours :p

Well, she was nervous, that's a fact. I get that attitude with women I knew

from the past. It's because I have changed to the better, my appearance,

my way of talking, most of myself. That much, I always get the "player"

comment.

Another strong fact, is that this girl is unaware of the dating games. So, the

only thing I had to check was her subconscious movements. Moreover,

she had her legs crossed point my side.

But overall, she was responding to my funny talking a lot. I don't delieve

is a bad thing she sensed my "attraction" . . .

I'm sure she got a really positive image of me, most women get that.

*When I was leaving her mother told me: "Go visit [girl's name] at the place

she is working for coffee", and I was like . . "uhhh(?)"

What I sensed is that her parents see me a marriage material (!).

Well, if you truly believe these things, there's nothing that anyone here can say to really help you, because no one here truly knows the situation. Go for it! Hope it works out for you. :)

Personally, I just don't subscribe to this "body language" mumbo jumbo. Every human being differs. I don't assume anything.
