It should be about me since it was all about him that time. Fair?? I think so. You value your relationship with this man, you say it's "serious" ? Why not prove it? Tell him you'd rather treat Valentine's Day just like any other day, no gifts, no outrageously priced flowers or dinners. Tell him you'd much rather wait & celebrate your love on Steak & BJ Day!
