My Darling Man has been as supportive as he can from afar/with limited resources (including time) during a very trying illness. Basically, I've become disabled, and it's up in the air whether that can be fixed. He is a blessing. He has educated himself, is always willing to hear me out on my worries, and is really rather selfless.

I don't want to burn him out, though. I don't want to take-take-take until he's empty. I want him to be okay, even when I'm not, and though I can't control his emotions, I can control how much I put on him.

Has anyone else here struggled with this? I don't want our relationship to become a casualty of my illness--any tips?
