Well she felt the need to mention she lives in a condo and I was a little turned off because she came off as a bragger. What good is it to live in a nice condo if she is not getting any d*ck?

How do you know she isnt getting laid? A successful women who is educated and has her own cash prolly doesnt have much problem pulling dudes. All kinds of people are single and use online dating. Lets be real here.

But you said you sent it in for a job you did not want - are you saying that was a career advisor post? If so, if being unemployed is such a probelm, why didin't you want the job???

Also - every employer will want something slightly different to the last one. You tailor your resume for that particular job at that particular employer. You show them that you want to work for them and that you are not just after any old job you can get at any company.

it was a career advisor job but the company was in the suburbs and I prefer to work in the city. So since it was a job opening for the type of job I want why not test the new resume and see if it works. Now that I know it works I can use it to apply to jobs in the city.

So no job at all is better than the kind of job you want in the suburbs?

let me explain something to you so you will understand. I only been unemployed a month which means I don't have to JUMP at any job opportunity. Now if I was unemployed after 9 months, then that's when I will become more flexible and not turn down opportunities just because they are in the suburbs.

Understand what i'm trying to explain to you??

You are so unnecessarily rude.

If the job market is as bad as you say it is, and all you're seeing are FAKE ads for jobs, then it makes absolutely no sense why you wouldn't take a job in your chosen field regardless of how long you've been unemployed. What happens if nine months from now you're still unemployed because of your geographical pickiness, and the job you were offered is no longer available? You're gonna feel really silly...and be way broke with unemployment benefits ending.

And in fact, if you were in Cali and a job in your field was offered to you and you turned it down simply because you WANT to work in the city and not the 'burbs, your unemployment benefits would end. Unemployment is for people who CANNOT find work. Not for those who are picky about the location.

I see that your interpersonal skills are top notch. Any employer would be grateful to have you.

Why settle for a long commute when I'm in the early stages of unemployment?

The question is do you understand? Why no feedback?

Why bother with feedback? With your attitude, the only person who is in the right is you.
