Anela Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 (edited) She is not the typical british cry baby. Though I have to agree a lot of them are cry babies. ??? I'm not a cry-baby, either (in fact, a lot of us aren't). I'm doing just fine, thanks - I've actually been enjoying my time away from the people who deliberately twist words, and do their damnedest to stir up trouble. Oh, was he banned? Anela Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Exactly. For the record (with regard to that post you quoted) I don't post pictures of myself here. I'm here to express opinions, and read other opinions, about subjects of general interest, not to hear what other people think about what I look like. If men like a woman's posts they'll often start to think and talk of the woman as being attractive, intelligent, talented etc...much as Dust does. Even if they have no idea what she looks like. In the same way as people in real life tend to perceive people as being more attractive, intelligent, talented and so on when they like their personalities. Most of the time, these compliments and insults are really just a way of saying "I like/don't like that poster". Anybody who takes humbrage about what they see as an undeserving poster being perceived as charming, funny or interesting is missing very basic points about human nature and interactions. There's no point in trying to dictate who and what other people should find interesting or funny. These are matters of personal taste. This... although I've had the experience of disagreeing with a man once or twice, only to find that they suddenly don't like me that much anymore - nothing hateful, just not agreeing with them.
Taramere Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 ??? I'm not a cry-baby, either (in fact, a lot of us aren't). I'm doing just fine, thanks - I've actually been enjoying my time away from the people who deliberately twist words, and do their damnedest to stir up trouble. Oh, was he banned? I think he maybe broke, and was sent away to be repaired. I agree that we aren't crybabies. What other nations cry about, we like to make parodies of. Talking of which, Chris Morris is another ideal man. I've always thought he was quite attractive in a way.
KathyM Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 I prefer blonde-haired men with blue eyes, muscular but not overly so, average to tall in height, fit, and with facial hair. Brad Pitt would be a good depiction of that type that I prefer, but I also like several other looks on men, such as Ashton Kutcher with the long hair and beard, but there are many types of looks on men that I really like.
missimsla Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Indian/Middle Eastern looking women. On the thin side usually. Like Fatima Bhutto, or Shakira Baksh Caine (when she was young, although she still looks pretty good), or Ileana D'Cruz. It's hard to date these types since a lot of them only date within their culture or not at all. But my current gf looks like a combination of Fatima Bhutto and Shakira Caine. That's not true, esp. most Indian women would die to date anyone that looks White since India is the most racist country in the world where their own dark skinned are discriminated against, Indian women are gold diggers who die for anyone that looks White.
ascendotum Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) I forgot to add, BIG bonuses are accents (British and Irish are my favorites), and guys in suits. I blame my teenage upbringing in Speech and Debate, all of these adorable nerdy guys running around in a three-piece..... *Contented sigh* Its always the English and Irish accents that capture girls attention, but I've never heard any woman say how hot welsh or scottish lads when they talk and they're just next door. I know a couple of women were an irish accent was practically like spanish fly for them. They left a number of irish tourists with happy memories. I have to admit I find it a bit of a turn on if a girl speaks french . Edited January 29, 2012 by ascendotum
