Hmph. Interesting that you limited it that way. Every metro area I've lived in or visited had nightlife that went well beyond early 30's. Again, context. Some clubs will all hover around 21 years old. A wine or bubbles bar will be early-30's to late-40s. Both are metro nightlife and a social scene to me. The age ranges just depends on where you go.

 

Then I used the "any time of day" to remove the original question from exclusively metro nightlife... This is all focused on date-wear, which is the topic of the thread.

 

And again, context. There is no one-size-fits-all date outfit. Mine literally range from running clothes, to ski gear, to a sundress, to jeans and heels, to a formal ball gown, and everything in between. Again, depends on where you're going, what you're doing, etc.

Agreed. While in DC, I tended to go to the same kinds of places with the same kind of demographic, so my experience is certainly limited here. My previous statement is a result of that.
