County fairs, harvest festivals, fireman's picnic (beer tent), outdoor concerts, look for wineries with breweries that have their own bar. We got the pirate fest, scottish fest, any excuse to have a fest. Bar's with popular local bands are always a big draw also.

One of them made me want to weep because she was one of the most alluring women I've ever seen online--cute, tall, curvy (in the best way), super-smart, funny, and the most amazing job I've ever heard of--she piloted Predator drones remotely for the US Air Force, which to me sounds like she plays real-life videogames for a living. But she lived two hours away, so I said no. I still wonder today WTF I was thinking turning that down. But that long a distance definitely would be a constant pain in the butt.

Real-life videogames that potentialy kill people... If she as the most alluring woman you ever met online in your humble opinion then you pretty much owed it to yourself to meet up with her. You let 2 hours stop you... hhaha. I'd climb a mountain and fight Zordon and the Power Rangers on top of it just to get a sniff of some one who seemed the most alluring I'd ever seen.
azsinglegal Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 I live in the rural parts of Phoenix and it sucks. Trying to get anyone to drive to my house (45 min from Phx) is useless. My current BF has only been to my house once in 9 months. I always go to him as I work on that side of town so I just go there right after work. Wish we lived closer cuz I'd like to see him more than just on the weekends, but oh well. Thus...why things for 9 months have been stagnant and we're just "seeing each other" or "hanging out".

(Let's say you don't want to take an hour long commute to the big city) You'll find people that look like they've just guessed starred on the Jerry Springer show who always gets into fights with who is sleeping with whom, toothless rednecks that weigh the size of a short bus (and could qualify to ride the short bus) You might occasionally see an attractive women in the sticks, it's because they've relocated for job related purposes VERY recently and regrets having moved. LOL but it's usually because she realized the same thing YOU realized, nothing but toothless rednecks and the elderly. If you're actually out anda bout in public, out at the bookstore or coffee shop or any public store, if you do see an attractive woman in the sticks chances are she's married. And this can include women from JUST around drinking age, pushing a baby carriage in a happy marriage, usually girl next store looking to people in their middle ages...ALL married with children or least have a boyfriend. If you see a hot woman out in public by herself in the middle of a small rural area either 1. She's passing through and is NOT a resident 2. If she IS a resident, she has a man. So you're stuck having to commute to meet women that live in the closest BIG city to your small town. Usually ...is terribly depressing... After being spoiled by the sheer numbers for online dating in the DC area, I have moved to the sticks of California and now understand how tough it is for those in more rural or non-metropolitan areas. OKC has only about a handful of women that are actually active near my area, none of whom are particularly desirable. POF is...well, POF... And right now, I'm considering trying out Match again, but I'm not sure if I want to pay for a service that has a very limited pool of women. For those who have lived in the sticks, what do you do for dating, whether online or IRL...?

This kind of town is ONLY visible on Google Maps if you ZOOM IN close enough. There was this unbelievably HOT woman living in such a town, next to "Forest Road" so and so Not sure if anyone is familiar with the naming of roads that go through National forests, but hey go by the name of FR 18 or something like that. Not "State Road" but "Forest Road". She was a professional body builder, had 3 pictures up, total hard body, early 40's. I was wondering what a woman like HER was doing living in a township like that. LOL Never married no kids. Was a long time Army veteran, turns out she works in a MALE dominated field. Construction work, can operate a backhoe, bulldozer, you name it. And no, she didn't wear flannel, and had a mullet, she's an image of Daisy Duke, but with more toned. And no, she didn't look like those chicks from American Gladiators back in the 80's, but TOTALLY feminine looking. For one, where SHE lives, it's a wonder she'll even FIND a man. She just might have to settle. Yes we do live close to strange forest roads out in the middle of no where that cults probably sacrifice virgins and the like. BUT we also live by a lot of happening sht and we have tons of beautiful women from all over the world who visit and live in the area we live in. No shortage for us! Well, I have always wanted to date a crazy girl, you know the ones who you hear about on LS who turn into psycho stalkers...I've only experienced dating normal girls...now I'm intrigued... I'm not going to lie crazy girls are pretty hot!
