I don't really see anything wrong with it, but I do see what others mean about your other pictures, now that I've looked at them. You don't stand out so much against the background in your avatar, that's all, and it makes you look a little heavier. The one with the glasses is the best.

I think this is a very cute picture. You definitely need a longer hair, though. Would you like to have a girl with a buzzcut? This military short hair only looks good on faces with very straightforward,"perfect" features and head shapes. I would look like shyt with such a haircut, but Sinead O'Connor looks good with it. We should strive to look the best we can. Also, Ross, you may want to consult with somone about making your tan more even. Women deal with this stuff all the time, we spend a lot of time, money and effort trying to look good - and no, we're rarely natural-looking EVER!

Again, I think that is the lighting and the background color. Anyone's features look bland next to the wrong colors.

Look at the photo with the glasses. The coloring flatters your nice blue eyes and hair. You have a strong nose and full lips (very nice!). And I love the bit of facial hair!

You look like a potato head in that pic but looking carefully I can see you seem to have symmetrical features and a good jaw, I think it's the angle, backdrop, and the clothes; something with a collar might help a lot.

This most recent avatar you have is the best, IMO. The darker shirt, the slight smile, is the best for you. You look like a nice approachable guy--a strong guy, IMO. The hair could still use a bit of work, but this is definately your best picture by far. The one in the car makes you look too pale because of the bright daylight and the white shirt. The one with the toothy grin is not as good as this one either.

To tend to think that the picture probably isn't that accurate to how a look IRL, since there are shadows on my face, and I look a lot different from how I look in the mirror.

 

I think this pic is probably the most accurate, since I'm properly in the sunlight and there are no shadows on my face.

The sun picture is the better one. Stop worrying so much about how you look. You've gotten lots of positive feedback now. In my opinion you need more of that sun. Give your XBox to the neighbor kids and find something worth doing in the real world. Leave the safety of your house. Go get a job on a ship. Sail the world.
