On second thought Dust, I don't think Verhzn is hot enough to wear a Bikini. I think she should prove that she's ugly by taking a pic of herself completely naked doing the butterfly to the camera.

If you want to prove you're really really really ugly, take a pic of yourself cornholing with a garden vegetable. But you know, that might only prove you're ugly to me :o

Somedude and verhrzn should totally get together.

Come guys what's stopping you? One of you make the first move and PM the other, arrange to meet up.

And yeah, I've had relationships... with guys who were desperate and then prompted dumped me once they figured out it wasn't their height, nerdiness, looks, lack of money, or anything BUT their attitude holding them back.... AKA, the kind of guys Somedude and Ross will turn into one they actually DO have success with a woman. (ThaWholigan comes off as a real cool just confused guy who is taking his time with his dating life, much kudos to him.)

I don't think that I had that attitude back in the day, yet I still always got rejeceted, and usually when I got rejected they'd always say 'He's ugly'.

If I did have success with an average or below average woman, I'd just really enjoy it, I wouldn't want to dump her so I could try and get someone more attractive, especially if I really liked her personality, even if I did believe that I could get someone more attractive.

And as Somedude said, I'm just a random Internet chick. These "compliments" I receive ("eh I'd bang ya") are just random Internet compliments that don't translate into real life. In real life, I can guarantee that you, or Ross, or Somedude, wouldn't give me a second glance because you'd be too busy seething in the corner about the hot girl who just rejected you for your "height."

Well, I think the same. Online plenty of women have said that I'm attractive and that they'd like to date me or even **** me, but I bet if they saw me offline they wouldn't be interested at all.

To be honest I'm not usually attracted to the typical really attractive woman, usually I prefer below average, average, and a bit above average women, I find them more hot for some reason.

If your avatar is you, my recommendation is a different haircut. Most women don't like military cuts--they prefer something with more style. Buzzcuts are easy to maintain, but that's the point with most women--it is the cultural norm for women to put quite a bit of effort into their appearance, so they really appreciate men who put some effort in as well to look appealing to them.

Don't take that too personally, just trying to be helpful--you look fine with that cut, just letting you know what I've learned most women prefer. ;)

I don't look good at all with longer hair, plus I'd have to put loads of crap in it to have it styled, which would my hair look a lot more red which I wouldn't like at all either.

Yo bra , trying to use your 40 something year old "alpha male" powers to AMOG me?

i don't know what this means

I second EC's advice, actually. Come on, you can have a normal 1-2 inch male hairdo without putting 'loads of crap' into it. That length is really effortless to maintain - the bf just rubs a bit of shampoo into it each day, then after he gets out of the bathroom he runs his hands through it in whatever direction he wants it to go a couple of times and it dries looking perfectly fine. Takes about 30 seconds.. about 1/60th the amount of time the average girl takes to do hers. ;)

Your hairstyle looks good on a very small number of men... and I'm sorry, but I don't think you're one of them.

Good luck!

No offence, but you can't possibly know what 'most women prefer.'

You've no idea what I prefer, for example

I suspect you saw the word "most" and read it as "all". :o My girlfriend also jumps to that exact same extreme whenever I make qualified remarks.

I love buzz cuts, military looks and military men. I say you look fine. Wear it how you like it.

Mine is only about two inches, but mine also takes product to keep it styled. It took me a ton only before I learned how to use it with more precision.

I've got the typical male haircut that has been popular for 50 to 100 years, same basic haircut Don Draper has in my avatar. Men and women who look good with any haircut are the ones with beautiful faces, but even they look better with better styles.

The best person to tell you what style would look good on your specific hair type and face shape is a stylist, preferably in a more upscale salon. I'm sure most men are too embarrassed to ever ask such advice, but it's really only dumb vanity--or perhaps homophobia, thinking that paying too much attention to appearance is "gay"--that's usually preventing it. Women in general at picking a man's haircut, but there are a minority of stylish male hairdressers who give great advice as well.

Do you think most American women agree with you?

Ross lives in the UK.

Well, don't get me wrong, it's entirely Ross's prerogative - we all have a right to look however we want. If he doesn't want to change his style, that's great too, whatever he's comfortable with. He did ask for feedback before though, so I figured an honest opinion would help. :)

Ah, hadn't noticed that. I'd guess their female preferences are similar to America's, but I have no realistic sense of it.

I'd agree with this. Buzz cuts don't look good on most men, with the exception of black guys or guys with slim faces who are tall and slim with high cheekbones. My nephew has a buzz cut because he's in the Army National Guard, and it does look good on him, but most men look better with a longer haircut. Red hair may not be some women's cup of tea, but some women are perfectly fine with it. Both my sister and my neice married guys with red hair, and their hair is longer. I'd suggest growing out your hair and going to a good salon that services both men and women, and have them suggest a style that would look best on you, and have them show you how to style it yourself. It would probably just take an extra five minutes a day to style once you get the cut and length corrected.

I think I look a lot better having my hair this short than having it 1 to 2 inches longer.

A woman hairdresser said to me once that short hair really suits me.

I never asked for feedback on how I look.

Red hair is cute. I don't understand why you have a problem with it. I love naturally red hair. And if it's curly - even better. :)

Ginger is derided a lot of the time in the UK.

My hairline goes really far back and my forehead stands out, so having my hair longer in any style would look ridiculous on me. Plus I don't think my hair looking a darker red colour is flattering on me in the slightest.

Guys with red hair in the UK have a much harder time finding women.

That's surprizing, since Ireland has so many redheads, you would think that the UK would be more accepting of it. You know, if you really do not like your hair color, or think it is that much of a deterrant, you could have the stylist darken it. Might be worth considering, if you think it holds you back. I would think that having longer hair in front would help to minimize a high forehead if it is combed forward. I still suggest going to a stylist--an upscale stylist, and getting their opinion on what would look best on you.

No, I saw the word 'most' several times, and read it as 'most' (as in generalising) and not 'all'.
