I've always wanted the cute girl nose , my nose makes me feel masculine and insecure around men. My ex who preferred porn and wanking to sex used to make fun of my nose too . Do men actually pay attention to that ? I think I'd dare more if I were happier . And no , not fishing for compliments .

I know men who are put off by prettiness, to the point of near hatred for pretty girls. Equally some women, some of the time will be put off by any feature you care to mention. So don't worry about what some people sometimes don't like. That's them narrowing their dating pool i.e. it's not your problem.
ThaWholigan Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I don't think the nose thing is as big a deal actually. I think if a nose doesn't compliment a girl's face then maybe it would be noticeable, but perhaps overlooked? I think some men may get put off, but I doubt they would be the majority.

Do you pay attention to every bit of imperfection on the other person? I guess not, most people just overlook it anyway. So as far as your question goes, the majority won't care that much unless you got an extremely long nose, in which case I'd recommend you do a cosmetic surgery, should help boosting your self esteem and will probably make you feel better.
Fondue Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 I'll be honest, I don't think I ever found myself checking out someone's nose. It just happens to be a part of a woman's face. Unless it somehow overshadows the entire face and for whatever reason attracts extra attention to that area, I don't think I would care. But again, I don't think I was ever in a situation to just observe the nose. Maybe if I had the opportunity to check someone out with some sort of "abnormality," I could give you a better answer.

The fact that there are large nosed people in this world goes to prove that there are big nosed people having sex. Obviously they are found attractive by someone. You're fine. My nose is a bit on the long side as well. And I have these tiny little ears that just look ridiculous.. It is what is. It is what it is. I think a guy will be much more put off by a girl who can't get over what God gave her as opposed to a girl with normal "flaws".

A long nosed persons attractiveness when they for hundreds or thousands of years have lived in a small town of long nosed people (like say, the dinaric alps or parts of the balkans) means nothing when compared to the rest of the world.

I thought of plastic surgery, but after seeing the photos, the people don't look much better in the 'after' and on common occasion look unnatural and much worse. So ... until reconstruction technique of facial bone structure is perfected, I'd say you're stuck where you are (without knowing anything about what you look like or how big your nose actually is). As I tell the dudes, suck it up ... and deal with it.

Who doesn't love a guido/guidette?!?! Being a guido doesn't mean you're Italian. Even the people who made it famous, on the Jersey shore, half of them aren't even Italian. Guido culture is one of those men of all ethnicities take up because they see women getting wet over it . Yeah, I do however see long nosed people everywhere, but it's not a great argument. I see Asian people and short people and red haired people everywhere, doesn't mean women don't have a strong preferece for the polar opposite of all these traits .

Buttercup, I kind of remember you having an actual picture of yourself as your avatar once, if I'm not mistaken? Well, if I'm correct and that truly was you, then you are gorgeous. I don't think most guys automatically pay attention to details like that at first, and even if they did, I've seen quite a few wonderful looking women who have 'large' noses. They make it work. So you don't need to worry about your nose, it most likely suits you just fine.

They dont fit the hollywood mold, but are still def very attractive with a difference about them. A lot of the time this tends to be a unique nose. My chick friend pointed it out to me, although I never noticed it until she said so. She goes "wow kay, you really like girls with a shnoz, dont you?" Im just drawn to girls who arent the stereotype of hollywood beautiful. For example, I love Milla Jovavich, and I loved Ashlee Simpson before her nose surgery. Her nose made her unique, but now she looks like every other girl in hollywood so shes run of the mill to me. Too typical. Btw, I adored my ex's nose. She had a long nose like yours and was self conscious of it. She was full Italian btw. I dug her nose though and used to chomp on in it with my mouth in a cute way. Like when you pull your lips back over your teeth to do a cute bite. Id always go "ooommm" when I did it to. I loved her face. I didnt see her features as flaws. I like long, straight noses on men. I'm actually not a fan of the pug nose or a small nose that curls up a little like ski slope. I got my dad's nose. My mom calls his a Roman nose because it roams all over his face. LOL!
