Just noticed something when I tried contactinga woman on there....first time I'd seen this happen on OK cupid, too.

Apparently, it gives you a popup message saying that that persons' mailbox is full, and I would need to "Upgrade" my membership by paying....and only THEN I could contact her.

Then it's a lie when they say it's full.

POF is train wreck central in my neck of the woods.

A lot of the women directly in my city are chicks that have seen booze whoring since my early 20's in the local bars.

And i've seen a few attention whores that gave me the "I don't wan't a relationship, can we just be friends" line. LOL!

So I bought the cheapest 3 month Match. com subscription.

at the end of the 3 months it will almost be summer time & i'll be hitting the outdoor concerts & meeting women again.

I'm actually looking for friends on there; I'm not an attention whore.

I messaged someone the other day, another man my age, who is on there looking for friends, and it told me his mailbox is full as well, only it didn't say that right away. It told me later, when I clicked on his picture, that he hadn't received my message, because of that.

... and guess who deactivated his account, two days after I messaged him? Maybe his mailbox was full, and he didn't get mine - maybe he just felt overwhelmed - but he was there supposedly looking for friends, sounded really nice and was amusing. Either he was messaged by too many people he didn't want to get to know, or I've turned into an ogre overnight. Or are some of you just gobsmacked when you're messaged by women?

On the other hand, I heard from the guy who looks "hotter", two states away, that I spoke to only because of something in his profile, not to meet him. He was the one I wasn't expecting to hear from.

Now, since so many men tend to ignore my own age requirements, maybe I should go and message the 28 year old, whose age limit with women is 30.
