Okay, you smaller women on here who still have curves.

Where on EARTH do you find clothes?

I've lost a lot of weight. I'm about 5' and weigh 120. Even when I was fat I was a curvy fat in that it was in the right places -- larger boobs, wide hips, smaller waist. I can easily fit into a size 5 juniors with room to spare in the waist, but there is no coverage at all on the rear so I can't wear them -- I'm a full grown woman, not a teen girl. And size 4 is the smallest misses size I can find at Wal-Mart, and they're too big.

And a lot of it IS about bone structure when it comes to an ideal weight.

I'm on the heavier end of the normal range of the BMI scale right now, but the only guys who have said I'm heavier than they prefer honestly prefer women with slight-to-no breasts -- I'll never be their "type".

I couldn't lose any more and still be able to clothe myself in normal retail outlets. My hip bones already have so little cushion they get bruised. My collarbone area is very well defined. My ribcage is defined in comparison to my waist. If a woman is 5'8, 140, and too pudgy for their bone structure (as someone said a woman they had a crush on was), they must have bird bones in comparison to moi!

Not in the juniors' section, typically. Juniors' clothing is typically designed for a teenage, curveless figure.

I also spend a lot of money on alterations with a good tailor, especially with suits - all of my jackets I have to buy in a bigger size than my pants and have altered to fit my waist and arms. I'm also a big fan of dresses that have some stretch, as structured dresses also require alterations.

Shop where Hispanics shop. You sound like you are built like many of them. Interestingly, I have a South American friend who is 5'2" and she has to shop in Chinatown and Thai Town because those women tend to be tiny like her but more straight up and down than curvy.

I wish women could buy clothing based on their measurements like men do.
