El Brujo Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 We need more single women who don't want kids. Granted, somebody has to get pregnant and make more little stupids... but come on, there's enough people in the world already. At 44, I want to be a daddy even less than I did at 24. We also need more single women who enjoy making things. I'm sick to death of meeting women whose idea of fun is getting drunk, or the dance fetish (and it IS a fetish). Drinking and dancing are not my idea of fun... get it, world? Drinking, dancing, and kid-having are fine if you're younger, but once you get past middle age, those things are just going to be pathetic. Everyone will think you're a repressed party animal who was gypped out of your youth.
Kamille Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) We need more men trying to get women to conform to their idea of what women should be. It's a long standing tradition, as old as Antiquity, and we need to preserve it. The right to impose one's worldview on others based on physical attributes is sacred - and the privilege of men. Women shouldn't be allowed to just be themselves and do whatever they please. Heaven forbid they end up making their own decisions. That risks diminishing the probability that El Brujo might find a plethora of women who fit his criteria for "proper woman". It might mean he would actually have to get to know a woman before deciding to date her. And frankly, who has time for that? Best to try and convince all women that they should live their lives according to his principles. Surely, that is the most time-effective way to live a fulfilling love life. Now, all he needs to do is sit back and wait for women to change. Edited January 11, 2012 by Kamille

I can give the woman the benefit of the doubt if she waited until she got married to have kids. But I don't much like going after a never married woman with kids.
soserious1 Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Let's see, no travel. no going out to drink or dance, no kids I'm guessing her inviting you over so she can "make you diner" then jump your jock would qualify as "making things" though right?

Watch it with that talk of long standing tradition as old as antiquity you're getting me all hot and bothered. We need more single women who don't want kids. You two can have fun and she probably won't want kids till she's like 30. So chances are you two will be broken up by then. Since you're already 44 if you make that last a few years you'll be close to 50. then you can date women in the 40-50 age range exclusivly and find women who arn't going to have kids and for the most part can't. If you want to be safe just date women 45 and up.
FitChick Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I thought El Brujo was asexual. He needs to date women his age who already have kids who are away at school or on their own already. He lives in LA so there are more attractive older women there than in the hinterlands.

Lol. I was thinking the same thing. I'm thinking Brujo should move to an Amish community or a fundamentalist camp. I'd think he's hit gold there!!

He can't control it there's something about a younger woman that makes us feel so masculine, it's a preference we shouldn't have to apologize for. [/Quote] Uh oh, OP you better silence this guy and edit out the link, he's blowing up your spot. If you don't keep your woman honey pot under wraps the only people who will go to the next meet up will be 20 something year old grassy/spikey haired visor wearing cretins/girl-people and old desperate virgins.

Granted, somebody has to get pregnant and make more little stupids... but come on, there's enough people in the world already. At 44, I want to be a daddy even less than I did at 24. Good luck. At age 44, she'll either be a single mom, or a very successful woman who is still hoping to "marry up". If I was 44, single, and wanted a RL, I would not rule out single moms. That or become a millionaire and stay in great shape so the childless career women will look your way (if you can hold off from seeking a young trophy). We also need more single women who enjoy making things. I'm sick to death of meeting women whose idea of fun is getting drunk, or the dance fetish (and it IS a fetish). Drinking and dancing are not my idea of fun... get it, world? The problem is in most of my travels, the women who "make stuff", don't come "packaged" like this: http://images01.olx.com/ui/1/37/91/3023691_1.jpg So it's like when women gripe and complain how all the "hot" guys either won't commit, won't treat a woman well, and/or isn't working a good job...but all the loyal, loving, committing guys are "ugly". That's hard reality. Deal with the cards you've been dealt or remain single and learn to be happy alone.
FitChick Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 If El Brujo wants to meet women who make things, he should join a scrapbooking forum. Or Martha Stewart's online community.

carhill Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 We need more single women who.... in my area are single for at least 30 days. That would be a nice start. Except for my exW, none of the women I've been with wanted children. LOL, they already had children and/or grandchildren

THAT woman doesn't look like that 90% of the time. Just because women are into crafty things doesn't necessarily exclude them from also taking care of their bodies and knowing how to dress to show it off on the right occasions. And it also definitely doesn't exclude them from being sexual beings. I mean really, there is nothing stunning about the woman in that pic besides the fact that she looks like she wants to give it to you. If you ever took the time to actually talk to and get to know a beautiful woman, I think you would see that she is an actual person too. With actual interests and hobbies.
CarrieT Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 I am your dream woman... 47 years old. No kids. Never wanted them. Stacked (36-H, natural). Brains (multiple degrees). Head-turner (seriously). I have a Masters in Art and went to cooking school. I have my own tool box and oxy-acetylene and know how to use them. I frequently cook dinner for twenty people after a weekend of making sh*t. Pity I am currently seeing someone... :p:p

If you ever took the time to actually talk to and get to know a beautiful woman, I think you would see that she is an actual person too. With actual interests and hobbies. #1 - switch to decaf #2 - my comment was mainly aimed at the underlying theme of when I see topics like this. It's usually a man or woman complaining how all the good looking people are so empty and vapid while the men and women wth lives and interests are bland or ugly. I'm simply not sugar coating rhings in saying that the man or woman who wants the "uber hot" mate shouldn't then complain how these people have not much more to offer than good looks. In my life, the "super hot" women had only their looks. Their lives were shopping, sex, and partying. The more average women who are quite beautiful in their own ways were the ones who had a brain and a life. I'm simply disparraging when I see topics like this. Women have children, and the women with hobbies/interests are not going to easily come packaged as the stereotypical "hot chick".
grkBoy Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 My big point is there are PLENTY of women out there who "make stuff" and such, just like there's plenty of men who are loyal, kind, and good to women. The problem is too many are dissatisfied with how these people come "packaged"...thus they need to accept that's the cards they've been dealt.
CarrieT Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I was thinking about this thread and I have a suggestion for the OP. Hang out at Craft Fairs and Art Fairs. I am serious. When I was making and selling my artwork, 75% of the vendors (other women artists) were single, middle-aged women. And almost 90% of the people attending these shows were women and considering they were walking around in packs, I'm sure a bunch of them were single. I used to lament this when I worked at these shows; middle-aged men didn't know where to pick-up women and here I was, seeing HUNDREDS of single women all in a flock, ready for the pick'ns.
Disillusioned Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Unfortunately, Carrie, the average American adult male's IQ is too low to think of that.

Half of being good with women is knowing where to hunt. You'd make a better man then many of the whiners here. I've noticed other similar areas packed with women and nearly a man in sight. Like I always tell the younger guys here run a 5k. Thats only like a 3 mile distance, you can walk the entire way if you ant. Point is that those events have a very large ammount of women at them. With plenty of time to socialize before and after the race.
fishtaco Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 What's wrong with drinking and dancing? I meet a bunch of women that way. Also, don't worry, as you get older and include older women in your selection pool, the women you meet will less likely want to have (more) kids. Marriages also, but not as sharp of a drop off as kids. Sometimes after a couple of divorces, some people learn their lessons.
