Buttercup84 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 My clown contacted me last month about something he found of mine . He asked if I was home , I got home late so just replied thanks but just throw it away . Old buttercup would have kept emailing him , telling him I missed him and wanting to see him. Kind of proud of myself

EgoJoe Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Only sometimes? That's one of my favourite jokes! And sort of like the clown analogy. Another thing like the clown analogy that I've read recently is the Monty Hall problem. The answer to that is not obvious, and the same goes with dealing with a fickle flake. The answer is within you, not them. I'm glad you've found your answer. Life's too short live it in someone else's neurosis. There isn't really an "answer" to somebody who is "talking to you" but only talking about themself and seemingly to themself while ignoring the things you say and pandering passive aggressively. GIGS or not, I deserve and demand respect and proper correspondence from anybody I interact with and I wasn't getting that. So, I stopped responding and I don't think she liked that. I think it hit her pride hard and that was why she sent me the last drunken message to make it look like "everything was all good." blah blah. It is all stupid and not worth my time to invest in. If I want to hurt myself I'll go to the gym.
