curlygirl40 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Well I'm not sure in the land of enchantment but in my area there are a handful of singles meetup groups. One of them is VERY active and it's not unusual for them to have 18-25 people at a meetup. They have bookclub, they go dancing, they have cooking competitions, hikes, they plan big dinner for people's birthdays, on and on. I am not a member but I have a friend who is and sometimes I will hang out with them and watch a band play and go dancing. I say go for it. Nothing to lose. Just look for one that seems to be pretty active and plan a lot of outings if you have a choice as to what one to join. Good luck.
