Emilia Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Don't get me wrong, I get where you're coming from, but I work pretty nutso hours and the thought of going on countless dates with random people to filter them out in person sort of seems like looking for a needle in a haystack to me. I would much rather start out with a smaller haystack that has more needles strewn about in it. You do this by screening them before you meet up, talking to them on the phone to make sure they sounds sane and sociable. It's much better to have a larger pool than a smaller one. I used a niche site for about 10 days and it was boring as hell. The same 10 or so users day in day out and most haven't paid.
