Women: Do you ever accidentally check out young folks.

I ask this because a recent pedo thread got me thinking http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t311272/

 

Now that thread is off the walls because the dude actively makes friendships with these young folks which is odd for an adult. Let alone young people who arent even in high school yet.

 

However, what I am talking about is this. For example, Im 25 and was at the beach this past summer and this beach was a bad spot. Half the time I check out any women, and liked their body, theyd turn around and me and my buddy would have an "oh crap" moment because they had a young face. We stay away from girls under 20. We seem them as kids.

 

Doesnt matter if shes 15 or 19, they arent mature enough yet and wed feel we were taking advantage by talking to women that age. Hell, we try to keep it at 21/22, since these girls are a bit more mature.

 

So the question is this: Women, do you ever/have you ever, checked out a guy and then realize hes just a kid and then have an "Oh crap...ugh" moment? Like if hes developed as an adult, but you can obviously tell in the face and by maturity that hes a high school kid or young guy once you notice. Like for instance, Sharkboy aka Taylor Lautner, really grew up as a man and is now this buff Twilight guy, even though hes only 19.

 

However, Ive heard older women talking about him since he was just turned 18...but Im wondering how often women notice younger people the way men do. I would think not often since most women are rather developed by 16 to 18, while guys its usually 17 to 21. I know I wasnt done growing until I was 20/21. And I wasnt really able to grow a full beard till about 22.

 

However, the youth center I worked at in town over the summer had 15/16 year old guys who looked like they were closer to my age. It was like watching Dawsons Creek (high schoolers who look like they are in college)

I've had the opposite happen to me. I've been hit on by 17-year-old boys because they thought I was their age. Sorry guys, I'm 26. Yes, I realize that I look younger, but I'm not.

Same has happened to me. But a little differently. Girls my age or a little older sometimes try and shoot me down because they think Im a 20 yr old kid.

Mind over biology. I always remind myself that. They may be physically adults, but mentally they are still youngins.

Yes, I thought he was a woman initially, too! And then I checked some of his more... natural pictures. And, yes, lots of men have questioned their sexuality on many forums and news-sites! So, no worries, you're not the only one! But, yeah... I've noticed soooo many (straight) women swooning over him. And even though I wouldn't say he's exactly my type, I do find him hot. He's just... too pretty, not to! LOL

 

Androgyny I suppose CAN be hot for many women, perhaps because the men look much younger and much prettier... But they're still men, sooo.... (Just go to deviantart site and you'll see the thousands of comments for boy-ish pretty men (termed bishounen or bishie in Japanese). But if you go, you'll also stumble upon another another phenomenon called "yaoi". lol So be careful...)

I browsed a few threads about the guy just now and some girls were swooning. However I seems more an admiration of beauty, rather than a sexual thing. The difference between him and other androgynous males I have seen is that those males are still obviously male. You wouldnt necessarily mistake them for women like you do with Andrej. And rumor has it hes gay from what Ive read.

 

Take Miyavi, for instance. As a fan of anime and J-Rock I know all about japanese love for male androgyny and yaoi. Hell some of my favorite bands do fan service on stage for their female fans.

 

Stuff like that really shows me how different sexuality is viewed in the East, then in some Western nations. The US is def far behind Japan in terms of accepting certain things and getting rid of double standards.

 

It seems some girls over in Japan go ga-ga over male on male action the same way some guys in the States go crazy for girl on girl stuff. Gotta love culture contrasts.

Ah, that's why I love Japan!! At least there girls are given some eye-candy, too and seen as proper consumers. I like yaoi but I'm not one of those rabid fans. hehe. LOL I mostly like anime from the shoujo genre like Bleach. Also Duradara, Tiger & Bunny (this one I recommend for the plot if you haven't seen) and I just started watching Full Metal Alchemist and Code Geass. I tried Naruto but it was sooo long! Maybe I'll restart one day. DeathNote is one of my top favourites.

But I was listening to this just a minute ago as I'm more into jpop and kpop:

It happened to me. On one occasion a friend and I were talking to a young man with a group of other people. I knew he was younger than me, too young for me to date, but he was rather attractive. I figured he was in college. Turns out he was still in junior high! A serious OMG moment. Honestly, I don't know what vitamins his parents were feeding him, because he really did look like an adult. Now I guess I know how those teacher/student scandals start out.

Check out sky7anime.com. I usually watch more shorter series stuff. I dont watch too much of the mainstream animes.

 

Deathnote was great. I never watched the whole thing though because I saw the live action movies before finishing the anime or manga. A really good show to watch is Kuro****suji. Great show. A couple others to check out are High School of the Dead and Get Backers.

Once again this thread sickens me. Of course I look at girls with good bodies who have young faces. Heck I'd check out a high school girl if she was hot looking. Nothing wrong with just looking. Also like cypress said young looking doesn't mean they are as young as they look. I'm not purposely going to go after old people because I'm so terified a girl might be 17. Ridiculous thread.

Dude the first thing you said in this thread was that it sickens you. Dont start that negativity in here. Because the last thing I want is for other dudes to come in here following your example and turning this isnt another man vs woman thread. Things were cool and you run in here criticizing the thread when the thread asks about what women do. Not what you do as a guy.

 

This is not a woman only thread, but the question is directed at women. You read my OP, its common knowledge that men already check out young folks. I didnt ask anyone to speak on that because it will start a debate on why men do this or that in comparison to female behavior. I asked if women if they share in this behavior.

 

How about you check yourself before posting next time. Before you came in, all the posts were positive or neutral. I couldnt care less if you feel sorry for anyone. Thanks for leaving the thread.
