beachwrangler Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 So I met this girl 2 weeks ago at her work which I go to once a week which is a tradition with me and the boys. There was initial attraction right off the bat and last week I went up to her and initiated conversation which eventually led to us exchanging numbers. She texted me that night saying she hoped to hang out soon. I asked her out on a date which we went on Christmas eve so right away I figured she was definitely interested if she was willing to spend time with me on Christmas eve. So to the date she kept telling me she was super excited for the date and was really nervous. Told me she went throught 4 different outfits because she really wanted to impress me. I picked her up and the comfort level between the two of us was unreal felt like I had known her for years when really only two weeks. It was a night full of laughs, and never one of those quiet awkward moments. She sat next to me at the restaurant with her leg touching mine the whole time. She made a lot of eye contact and kept her focus clearly on me. We both agreed we were looking for something meaningful we both didn't expect to hit things off the way we did. We held hands on the way back to the car and she kept rubbing my back and rubbing her hands through my hair on the drive home and we made out right before I dropped her off. To me the date couldn't have gone any better. I mean she texted me 20 mins later saying she had a lot of fun tonight and would talk to me tomorrow . So she wanted to hang out Christmas night but she told me she had to reschedule because she was suprising her best friend that lives out of town which was fine to me. Told me she absolutely wanted to go on a second date. Now what makes me think maybe she isn't that interested is she takes so damn long to respond to my texts sometimes I am talking hours. She did text me last night saying" good night!!! Having an okay time down here I'll tell you about it later. Sleep good But now today makes me question her even more. She did send me a text saying it was gorgeous where she was at and that we should come down there together one day I responded with I'd absolutely love to take you down there someday This was at 1:00 today and now it is almost 8 and not a peep. One positive she is obviously making future plans with me but then I haven't heard anything back from her. I think I am just overreacting and going to continue to play it cool because she is with her good friend she hasn't seen for awhile so thinking she is just busy. Just wish I knew for sure if she was interested she says she is but idk.

Wednesday night me and the guys always go to the bar she works at and well of course she was working. At first it was fine she came over and talked to me and we had a nice conversation. Well once I started boozing up I became a stubborn idiot. Went up to her twice and told her that I really liked her and hoped I wasn't getting played. She told me I told you I wanted to hang out again but if you keep thinking like that I am not going to want too. I felt so dumb because I know I was coming on too strong and needy. So I texted her when I got home told her I was sorry for being such an idiot tonight and hoped she had a goodnight and told her to text me if she wanted. I haven't heard anything since. I feel so dumb bc I would've never been like that had I not been drinking. All I feel I can do now is back off and let her make the next move. If I don't hear a thing from her I guess she really didn't like me enough to begin with.
