Deominous Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 In any relationship, what do you really know about the other person? You want to know more than, “how was your day” or, “ what do you think of the weather”. You want to chew on some fat. Simply, you need to ask questions and talk about everything. Usually when you ask other people questions there is some pressure on you, as well as embarrassment for actually asking certain questions. A conversational book, like “Questions to Muse You” by Dean Derkson, shifts the blame for the question onto the author of the book and leaves you free to simply ponder the answers. Questions like: What food best describes your spouse? How much emotional baggage did your parents give you? What part of your best friends character would you like to change? Where would you take a gorilla on a date? Who would you like to be stuck in an elevator with for three hours? If cannibals caught you, how would you like to be cooked?
