PoppyLove89 Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Do you think it's fair to say that some people are only able to love someone whole-heartedly and show it (whilst still together) and act as though they hate them to cover up the pain of a split? Or perhaps it's none of the above and they're simply being childish.
Philosoraptor Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Hate is a strong emotion and until one feels indifferent they truly are not over their past. People hang onto the anger as it helps them get past things mentally at that moment. Anger is easy, natural, and allows someone to not reflect internally. They will hurt later by being angry. The true path to healing is forgiving both yourself and your past partner.
