ditzchic Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 So I've been thinking that I need to shake up my life a bit lately. I'm college educated. I have a good job in a corporate environment in a field that I basically enjoy. But I feel like something is missing. What I do isn't a real passion of mine (market research). I do a lot of data analysis and it's basically me playing with a computer and running numbers all day. I do like it, it has it's moments where it's a lot of fun. Sometimes it's like traveling without leaving my seat! And it pays the bills. Sometimes I would rather just stay in bed than go stare at a map and a screen full of numbers for 8 hours. So I've been thinking lately about things that I do that I'm really passionate about and really make me happy. For anyone that's followed me on these boards you know that I've lost a lot of weight over the last 2 years and am kind of an exercise and nutrition fiend now. So I seriously considering taking some classes and getting certified as a personal trainer. This wouldn't be my full time career. It would be more of a part time thing on nights and weekends because this kind of job definitely wouldn't keep my bills paid. At least in the short term. And it would definitely give me something to feel more passionate about and interested in every day. Now my question for the guys. Would you see a female personal trainer as a turn on or turn off? When I think of female's into this kind of thing I see either the likes of Anna Kournikova and Jillian Michaels, Chyna or my middle school gym teacher who kind of resembled Rosie O'Donnell. What are the first things that go through your mind when you hear that a girl is a trainer? Not that it really matters.... It's what I want to do. But I'm looking for opinions nonetheless
Soxfaninfl Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I feel that it's a turn on, as long as you don't get muscular. Plus, it's also a turn on that you care about your appearance and want to stay fit.
Imajerk17 Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I have and like dating personal trainers. In fact, I soon will be a Crossfit instructor myself weekends--keeping my day job).

ShannonMI Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Ewww. God. Gross. How does that even happen?!?!?! Hahahahahaha STEROIDS!!!! Girls take them too. I can't even imagine deforming my body that way. It's sick.
O'Malley Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I say to go for it. My sister is a CPA and a trainer, she's able to balance her schedule pretty well and she hasn't had any problems meeting interested men (big no-no as far as dating clients, although several have tried).

Those women look like dudes LMAO!
ShannonMI Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Holys****! Those women look like dudes LMAO! Hahahahaha that's what steroids and intense body building does to a woman. F*cking disgusting.
Soxfaninfl Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Hahahahaha that's what steroids and intense body building does to a woman. F*cking disgusting. Hell even men look freakish like this lol. You don't get that large without a little help of steroids.
chimneychamp Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Sure, it could be a turn-on. Not huge, but yea. But if you really want extra points, become a massage therapist!

But I'm looking for opinions nonetheless Any woman with a passion for something is a turn on to me. Preferably in the arts, and specifically music, or non-profit philanthropy for me in particular but... A woman who pursues something passionately either as a job or a hobby is a turn on. So yes. Moreover, if you find you really enjoy it, you can earn additional degrees and possibly look into being a dietician or nutritionist. Those jobs are steady, probably won't pay much less than being a market researcher and your sense of fulfillment will cancel out the drop in pay.
ShannonMI Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 As much as I love this woman, she looks like hell these days: http://roflrazzi.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/celebrity-pictures-madonna-sleeves-invented.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_a4py5G6PEss/Sm9Lki_UfgI/AAAAAAAACiA/x2ia6M4OIWE/s400/madonna's+arms.jpg I'm sure she doesn't take steroids, but she works out like a mother f*cker. WAY too much IMO. She doesn't look feminine anymore. She was once beautiful, soft and womanly: http://hitnarede.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/madonna-young-2.jpg http://img.celebies.com/img/p/1452/large/Madonna-Steven_Meisel-0001.jpg
Citizen Erased Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Hahahahaha that's what steroids and intense body building does to a woman. F*cking disgusting. is right. I'd rather be like 200 pounds than look like that. And good for you OP, doing something that you enjoy. I'm sure most guys would love it.
Quiet Storm Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Guys...a question for you. I get that most men would be attracted to a personal trainer. The profession itself would lead most to believe she is fun, passionate, energetic and in shape, which most men want. However, if you chose to be in a long term relationship or marriage with this woman, do you see it becoming a problem for you in the future? Because my husband would definitely have a problem with me touching other men, feeling their muscles, demonstrating squats and proper form for other men, and being hit on by sweaty men all day long. So while I think the idea of having a personal trainer girlfriend may be awesome for a man, I would predict that eventually he would start to feel a little insecure about it. Most men don't admit to their insecurities, and do a good job supressing these feelings, so their women are often surprised when jealous or possessive behavior comes out of nowhere. So although I think most men would be inititally attracted to a woman with this career, some may begin to resent it long term.

The female personal trainers there do aerobic workouts. If female personal trainers have to deal with sweaty men then hell no would I want her to have that job. If she's going to work at the gym she better only work with females, at the check in counter, or be a lifeguard.
kaylan Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Left; turn on. Right, turn off. Is that the same woman in both pictures? Id take both pictures to be honest. As much as I love this woman, she looks like hell these days: http://roflrazzi.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/celebrity-pictures-madonna-sleeves-invented.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_a4py5G6PEss/Sm9Lki_UfgI/AAAAAAAACiA/x2ia6M4OIWE/s400/madonna's+arms.jpg I'm sure she doesn't take steroids, but she works out like a mother f*cker. Now if she put on a little more weight and was still kinda toned, id dig it.

Now if she put on a little more weight and was still kinda toned, id dig it. Yeah she's all muscle. She probably has no body fat. Well maybe her boobs. I think they are real actually. I love Madonna, but bitch is looking terrible these days. I used to think she was so beautiful. Although she is getting the 20 something men still. It's because she's Madonna though. It doesn't matter if she looks like a grisly piece of meat.

Noone looks good when they are too lean.

Because my husband would definitely have a problem with me touching other men, feeling their muscles, demonstrating squats and proper form for other men, and being hit on by sweaty men all day long. I don't see a problem with touching in this context - it's professional and non-sexual. Should I also worry that my hypothetical personal trainer girlfriend/wife might wear shorts and a t-shirt and get sweaty in the presence of men as well? What if they look at her? As for being hit on all day long - I'd probably feel sorry for her but if I didn't trust her to deal with that appropriately then I wouldn't be with her for long.

Yeah I'd f*ck her too and I'm as straight as an arrow hahahahahahaha:laugh: I love her, but she needs to eat a cheeseburger and chill with the working out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Why should she? All she is a walking sperm bank, and she knows it. It's empowering! C'est la vie.
