Do you guys think it is possible?

I don't get it anyway why is the famous act always associated with something 'negative', e.g "he is not interested anymore", "he is doing it with someone else", "he is a coward", "he doesn't see you as wife material" etc etc.

Now, I am not going to share the details here, however I want to believe that he got really scared of LOVE and this is why he needs some time off right now.

Is this a crazy idea?

thanks :)

Sometimes when I have gotten scared of falling for someone to quickly, Ive backed off or sabotaged things.

But generally, its been because I know I am not ready to give myself to one girl and want to be open to date around.

Some folks get scared of commitment and keep their options open to avoid getting hard.

Such is life.

And dont discount any of those quoted reasons you gave either. The simplest answer is usually the right one.

Nice try. But if I am in love with a girl... you can't stop me. She's mine. :bunny::bunny::bunny:

Pizzaman just won kudo points with me..

I think fear can inspire a lot of things but even that can take a backseat if a man is adamant enough in pursuing.

Of course, a guy can disappear, and it will always be selfish but if he was falling in love I think it would take more than commitmentphobia to make him run.

Yeah, this post kind of made me sad. Unless the guy is absolutely and completely not ready for a relationship.....and it happens.......timing is everything......I just feel like if someone felt LOVE, they'd act upon it, because it really is rare.

Sometimes a person can be blinded by their own issues, including insecurities. Regardless of the reason, accept that it's over. You deserve someone that believes you are worth it :)

I don't think there is such a thing as disappearing because someone is scared of love. They might have enough after a while if they feel they have tried everything and it still wasn't working out but otherwise if they drop off the face of the earth it's usually because they don't know how to tell you that they don't want to see you anymore. Sorry but that's how it is. You don't usually want to hurt someone you really care about.

I think you can believe whatever you like. It doesn't matter anyway. He's gone.

ROFL! Elysian Powder rules, he's always keeping it Alpha ;)

Sorry Annie, no man in his right mind is going to run away because he fears love.

Some guys don't like the loss of control that accompanies being with a girl they are really into, which might cause them to bolt for the door if they start to develop feelings. Most of the time though the guy's just trying to make you feel better because you're getting dumped even though you did nothing wrong.
