PoppyLove89 Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Is it easier to just pretend our exes never existed than think about them everyday and regret the things we did/didn't do?
smokey bear Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Its easier to not focus on the past and to think to the future.
Philosoraptor Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Neither. You need to learn to be happy within yourself and with your own life. This person is not apart of your life anymore. Moving on is the only way to ever find happiness. "Trust in yourself. Never doubt what you have done. All your decisions have brought you to this point."
Author PoppyLove89 Posted December 19, 2011 Author Posted December 19, 2011 Luckily my ex acting as though he couldn't care less has ignited my defiant side and I am more determined than ever to move on and be happy! This was just something I've been wondering since I have a lot of conflicting feelings/thoughts but that's normal. He loves the chase but I'll be damned if I contact him - my future is waiting
BoredAgain Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Yeah, you shouldn't take either of those options. Instead you need to move forward with your life. Even if a breakup was terrible, there will come a day where you can look back on the relationship with fondness... it just takes time.
