ShannonMI Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Hey Shannon, the typical "skinnemax" soft core porno I would turn on in secret when I was 12 has as much plot as True Blood or more, it was also just as graphic, are you going to argue that isn't porn either? It doesn't have to be gonzo porn with close ups on penetration for something to be pornographic. Sorry, women watch porn too, period. They just don't market it as porn. Just because women only watch porn if it has the 2% best looking males on the planet and they shape shift into werewolves and demons when they gangrape women, doesn't mean it's any less filthy than Max Hardcore's resume. Who ever said chicks don't watch "gonzo" porn? I watch it when I'm really horny and need some material to masturbate with. I defiently don't do it on the regular like a lot of men, but hell I watch it. I think a lot of women do. True Blood could be classified as soft core porn. Sure. So what. It's entertaining.
Lonely Ronin Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 I watch it when I'm really horny and need some material to masturbate with. Shannon, you just earned a half dozen brownie points with every guy on the forum. :lmao:
ThaWholigan Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 Who ever said chicks don't watch "gonzo" porn? I watch it when I'm really horny and need some material to masturbate with. I defiently don't do it on the regular like a lot of men, but hell I watch it. I think a lot of women do. True Blood could be classified as soft core porn. Sure. So what. It's entertaining. A lot of girls I know like it. Even ones I didn't expect. But generally women are aroused much slower with more stuff going on. Men generally aren't bothered by this, which is why we are naturally more aroused by "gonzo" stuff. I'm not a big fan of the extreme stuff, but I like rough. A lot.
Author Wolf18 Posted December 17, 2011 Author Posted December 17, 2011 I find that homosexuals and indeed metrosexuals have a greater understanding of looking attractive to both genders. I'm not a big fan of the super gay clothes though like the really skinny jeans and stuff, but I know lots of girls who like guys wearing that stuff lol. The majority of the people I encounter in my personal life are largely homophobic so I tend to keep quiet on my observations of gay men, but they generally have greater fashion sense and take grooming more seriously than a lot of guys. Personally, it's all about striking a balance, you don't want to look too neat IMO. Homosexuals and metrosexuals spend all their time on their appearance because they belong to an "alternative lifestyle" that is centered around...having sex. While it's obvious that sex is great fun, I don't think making it the sole purpose for living or the foundation of your identity is very healthy. So yeah, go ahead and dye your arm hair blonde or wax your ass cheeks, I think I'd rather use the mental energy such upkeep requires for something that's actually worthwhile like tuning up my boxing skills or teaching myself how to locksmith. Just because trite , pathetic vanity is the new "it" thing doesn't mean it stops being despicable for any real men. Who ever said chicks don't watch "gonzo" porn? This is about the other 99% of women who watch vampire porn and then claim to be hopeless romantics, or that they like that 6'5 werewolf (who I can guarantee, judging from his crazy trapezius', that he lifts as many needles as he does dumbbells hehe) because of "charisma" I've got nothing against women who are into that , there are just as many men who are into plastic phoney looking women as well, what I hate is women who insult my intelligence with feel-good fluff.

Men generally aren't bothered by this, which is why we are naturally more aroused by "gonzo" stuff. I'm not a big fan of the extreme stuff, but I like rough. A lot. I mean I'm not into the freaking sh*t. I like the boy/girl porn. I don't particularly like watching a girl give a guy a BJ, I usually fast forward that part:p but I do enjoy the sex scenes. But like I said, I get bored after a few of these such scenes. I have no interest in lesbian porn or any of the fetish sh*t. So I guess I'm limited in what I watch because I'm not turned on by anything else. People that are turned on my more will not get as bored.

Just because trite , pathetic vanity is the new "it" thing doesn't mean it stops being despicable for any real men. Oh trust me, I'm no metrosexual, I am not into fashion or any of that stuff. But I recognize that women are generally impressed by things we might find stupid, like our shoes matching our belt or something along those lines. I even downloaded a book from Brad P (Fashion Bible for men), and in it he says this: Anti-gay Social Programing This is a big one. Lots of guys have their personal style stunted by anti-gay social programming. This happens in 2 ways. 1. No one wants to look gay if they're not gay. Ok fair enough. I don't think that you should try to dress gay unless you're specifically going for the "metrosexual look" and using that as a way to attract women. (More on that look later). Looking gay is not what most guys should be going for. The problems is that almost anything could be construed as "looking gay" and this becomes a common excuse for guys who have some more general fears- the fear of change, the fear of coming out of your comfort zone, the fear of pushing your limits. 2. Taking an interest in fashion can make you seem gay, even if you don't look gay. There's a grain of truth to this. If you hang out with super macho or narrow minded people and start talking fashion, they might hassle you about it. In some rural subcultures, even women might have a negative reaction to guys who are interested in fashion. But if you don't live in Wyoming and you don't hang out with truckers, you probably don't need to worry about it. You have to decide who it is that you want to be attracted to you. Do you want macho truckers to like you or hot women to like you? The choice is yours. The vast majority of women find fashion minded men attractive and refreshing. The irony of anti-gay social programming is that you can learn more about dressing attractively from gay men than anyone else. On average, gay men dress more attractively than straight men. If you don't believe me, ask some attractive women. Gay men are not born with more fashion sense than straight men, so why do they dress better? They just have more practice. They belong to a subculture which encourages them to study fashion and explore different looks. While many straight men strangle their creativity with fear and inhibition, gay men are "allowed" to get creative with their wardrobe. If you want some great fashion advice, ask a gay guy. They have years of experience learning what looks good on a man. They also tend to be fully supportive of your quest to get laid more often. Sometimes you'll get good advice from women, but not always. The problem with getting fashion advice from women is that they are not fully supportive of the "getting laid" agenda. Women have their own agenda. Maybe she wants you to continue to be an asskissing nice guy. Perhaps she has a crush on you and wants to keep other women away from you. Perhaps she wants you as an orbiter (a friend who does her favors in hope of winning her heart.) Maybe she just thinks it's fun to act like a fashion expert even though she knows very little about the topic. This is common. Many women like to believe that they are experts on everything from fashion to relationships to pop culture but they won't have the kind of specialized knowledge needed to create an attractive look for a man. Fashion advice from women is better than nothing, but it's hit or miss depending on the woman's agenda. In conclusion, the idea is not to look "gay." However, you shouldn't let the fear of looking gay prevent you from looking your best. Sometimes the question "are you gay?" is just a woman's way of telling you that you have great style. Now obviously, I don't necessarily subscribe to all of that, but I recognize that this is an area in which I could improve. I don't see a great deal wrong with this, except that some guys take it too far. I don't intend to spend hours looking good or do any kind of waxing etc.

Guess that's why the divorce rate is so high.

What I hate is guys who work to be as attractive as possible to women while neglecting every other aspect of his being. I don't have to know you to hate you if I notice your shoes match your belt which also match your 90 dollar Ed Hardy trucker hat. When Mad Max world comes and we have to survive based on real masculinity, weak people like that will perish in less time than it takes for them to get ready every morning. Metrosexuals aren't all good looking either, it's just that women only notice the very good looking ones. There are many metrosexual guys who are overweight or below average looking who take the advice of PUA's and buy all kinds of fancy clothes thinking it's going to get them girls. Not only do they have no dignity, they usually don't get girls either I've known quite a few guys like that throughout my life. But indeed, I think it's about time to give a Mel Gibson-esque phoney apology to the beautiful people who feel persecuted by me Sorry Steve, I know you're deep and gorgeous on the inside as well.

Woggle Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 I am in no way a metrosexual. I care about looking decent and presentable and being clean and that is pretty much it. That being said it never gave me any problems with women.

I have to agree with this. True Blood is no different to me then this softcore porno "Pirates" that we used to have when I worked at Hollywood Video a few years back. True Blood is like Buffy/Angel tv series meets porno. And women need to give the "charisma and mysterious" thing a rest. The reason most things work for some people more than others is some people are easier to look at. Good looking people dont have to work as hard at attraction as regular folk. As soon as I grew my dreads long and got in shape two years ago, all of a sudden I got lots more attention and practice at talking to girls. This then allowed my personality qualities to shine. People dont always get that chance if they are run of the mill folks. Lets stop pretending that looks arent the main force in INITIAL attraction. Sure personality helps, but looks is what draws you in. I wont lie and say this doesnt make me a little more cautious about women and if they actually like me. I would like to think the same girls who like me now at 185lbs would of liked me at 165lbs....but thats life.

Bieber wears super skinny jeans. I wear regular ole levi's 511. Either way girls have always dug my style. So it works for me. Funny story though. Yesterday I bought beer from the local qwik mart, and I give the guy my ID and he goes "unbelievable...you are like justin bieber." Because he couldnt believe I was 25 lol. I felt kinda insulted though since hes calling a black dude justin bieber lmao.
