Last night was our company Christmas dinner at a very nice resteraunt. My ex's best girlfriends husband works with me. So of coarse, the ex's girlfriend was there... So I show up nicely dressed, a jacket, botton down shirt and looking pretty good along with my new roomate as company. A very pretty blond, nice figure, nice smile, very personable and friendly. Towards the end, we were all sitting outside smoking and my roomate left just a minute or two before me. Well, a couple of the guys, in front of my ex's GF, asked me if that was my roomate? I said yes. And they know that I'm also dating another very attractive woman. (they have seen her).. One of the guys said " so you have HER as a roomate with benefits, and you are dating the other girl? ".. I said yes. Of coarse they said "that isn't going to work out for long".. I said "who cares, I'm having fun"... Now the ex's GF is sitting there hearing all of this. OH!, and one more thing, Inever mentioned a single word to the ex's GF about my ex. I was smiling all night, having a great time, she was DEFINATELY checking out the girl I was with and eyeing her up and down. So what I want to know is, how fast does THAT news travel? And no, I'm not looking for any miracles, but to think that this will get back to her and MIGHT (maybe not) jolt my ex a little to hear that I'm doing pretty good (no contact for over two months now except that 2 minute call I gave her NOTHING at the time about the credit card) makes me feel, pretty good. And since the breakup, I lost some wieght, been going to the gym, and I must say, I DID look pretty good last night. I got many compliments from coworkers and even the roomate was hanging on me and wanted to take my picture. Hell, even her GF was eyeballing me... Yes!.. I hope this good feeling never leaves my soul.

It may give her the Jolt you so hope for at first... but with some thought, it will only make her feel better about not being with you. I don't understand what you were trying to achieve, and this behaviour is hurtful to everyone involved, including yourself.

Smokey, the new one I'm just 'dating", not sleeping with knows about the room mate the ex GF,and is very understanding. The roomate, is an old friend of 15 years who does live in her own side of my house who also knows my situation. Both of them would be glad to be playing a role in this charade. They know me, they know what she did to me. They BOTH would like to go Tell her a thing or two. As far as what my ex might think, she's not the type that obviously (read my original link) that puts morals and values up front. Remember, she was cheating on me while I was watching HER kids! And that's just the TIP of the ice burg. Regardless, it felt so good to finally fan out all my peacock feather for the first time in 6 months. I know this probably sounds worse than what it actually is.

These people are my friends. Not two women I just met last week. They know my full story, have given me a lot of support and they both would LOVE the outcome I mentioned.
